The Sopranos, this is a slam dunk for me. May be the best TV series ever.

Seinfeld sucks. I used to love it but now it's just a dated, pompous, prejudiced, boring show from the '90s that has no relevance. Curb Your Enthusiasm far better. Game of Thrones, followed by Detectorists, Wild Wild West, and Star Trek TOS . Voted Fargo from the list. Edited by Atavachron - July 04 2018 at 17:45 |

Fargo for me. I really love it. There are some on the list that I've been meaning to watch, but haven't got around to... Or I only started on them. It can some effort and patience to check out and invest in a new-to-me series.
Off the list, some modern faves of mine are Utopia (very violent show), Les Revenants (the Returned), Inside No. 9, Black Mirror, Dead Set, Real Humans, The Bridge, Westworld, Game of Thrones, In the Flesh, Misfits, Life on Mars (UK version) and Stranger Things. In classic TV, I like The Twilight Zone, the Outer Limits, The Prisoner, Blake's 7, Chocky, The Omega Factors, COld Lazarus, The Survivors, The Singing Detective, Star Trek TOS, and Wild Wild West. And I still like Doctor Who. My favourite animated show is Death Note, methinks. I like Curb Your Enthusiasm, and never "got" Seinfeld. I do tend to watch more modern British shows than American, but there are so many great American ones. |

You should come up with your own list. I'd be interested to see your favourites. I thought a while ago about doing a Peep Show vs. Seinfeld poll based on what people consider to be the funniest moments of each, but I won't as I wouldn't want it to become a pissing contest. EDIT: never mind, I did, was bored, gonna regret it. Edited by Logan - July 05 2018 at 13:37 |

Hey Now! Morningrise did write "Choose your favorite of the list", but I will mention that I really liked The Larry Sanders Show too (I haven't watched it in about twenty years, though).
I'm going to get down to watching Breaking Bad when I have a little more free time as I've been meaning to for ages. I sometimes find it daunting to try a series that I got into late which has lots of episodes and "seasons", and I often prefer ones that I can binge watch when I get the opportunity (which is rare due to work and family). For instance, I had binged as much as I could with Fargo (that show really got me excited) -- looks like season/series 4 of Fargo won't come until 2020. |

LOL.....of course. I also liked Twin Peaks...anything by Lynch. And 6 Feet Under.....not much of a fan of 'crime drama' though.

South Park over X-Files...love them both, but got really bored with the smoking man/conspiracy angle...much prefer the paranormal/bug hunt episodes
