LED Flashlight have gone from around 200 lumens to 32,000 lumens in the last decade with the biggest increase in brightness coming in the last 3 years, I saw a video on youtube of a 7,300 lumen torch that was basically a pop can sized hand held sun and bought it, I've been hooked ever since buying brighter and brighter lights.

To date I own the 5 brightest production lights on earth, here are the top 4!

Anyone else share this new illness that drives wives mad?

Yeah big gearhead here--  I'm a knife guy but I love a good flashlight and yes the improvements in the last few years in size-to-light ratio is pretty amazing.   I mostly need smaller lights and recently got a copper Olight i3E with 90 lums, and for me it works just fine, plenty bright for my casual EDC needs.   May get something better some day like an EagTac D25 in titanium but nothing like what you posted.

I watch a lot of Nick Shabazz so I've learned a ton in the past year, thank god I'm not a watch guy.   I do like a nice pen and just got this little handmade beauty - -

Not into flashlights but I can recommend a good 12 Step Program.

I prefer flashlights like pic related, but it's getting harder and harder to find bulbs for them. There's probably some EU regulation that forbids stores from selling them.

I have to admit, I like these new LED flashlights better than the traditional ones. It's easier to find poop in the yard now.

Lumens cost money though, for over 6000 genuine lumens (not ebay lumens) you're looking at £50 at least
