^No, not your fault. This thread got derailed when it went into "Alex Jones" territory back on pages 2 and 3.

"UNITED NATIONS, March 20 (Xinhua) -- A team of experts from the Hague-based Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) are collecting samples of the poisoning of a former Russian spy in southern England and the chemical used could be determined in three weeks, said Ahmet Uzumcu, the head of the OPCW, on Tuesday.
The samples will be sent to designated labs for analysis, which may take two to three weeks. Once the results were determined, they will be shared with the British government, the director-general told reporters at UN Headquarters in New York."
Question? If it takes the OPCW "two to three weeks" to figure out the chemical formula of a "nerve gas" ...How did Theresa May know it was a "Russian Nerve Gas" ?

I thought this thread was about conspiracy theories! I should have looked at the title posting!

Correction. It entered Alex Jones territory when the thread was created. The entire premise of the thread is a conspiracy THEORY.

For all those who like conspiracy theories.... I read this over 20 years ago....when I was interested in such things along with aliens and ufos. (If anyone wants to buy my shelf full of weird books drop me a line. ;) ) http://www.t0.or.at/hakimbey/conspire.htm
ps: whenever Alex Jones or ufos come up them one knows the discussion is soon to go down the rabbit hole

I believe aliens exist, however I feel the Universe is vast and the speed limit is LIGHT...Therefore I think it would take too much time, effort, and cost to many resources for an alien race to visit Earth. Since the game isn't worth the candle, I seriously doubt UFO's.
If aliens were to visit earth, I believe they would be something like "nano bot" Von Neumann machines.

^Heh Cindy.... I agree that aliens are out there in the Galaxy somewhere....far too big for us to be the only fish in the sea. The UFO phenom is truly a weird bird...on multiple levels. If you want to read a very interesting book about the ufo enigma try 'Dimensions' by Dr J Vallee.
Sorry about taking the thread off topic from the 'Russian attack'.

^ that's an intersting thoughtful article for sure. The rabbit hole was dug from the get go with absolutist framing in the title of the thread. BTW my initial responses were rather tongue-in-cheek since the whole premise of this thread began as a suspension of habeas corpus via character assassination (i know that's probably not an elible term for a nation state but comes to mind) . Therefore the entire premise opens up any other forms of speculation that obviously spiral into infinity. Having said that, many "conspiracy theories" have turned out to be true and only investigations into the possibilities are what allow such things to be proven. Think of how scientific discoveries were built on these same principles.

Some quick research on Novichok tells me that information on how it is identified is not publicly available, but the fact that even experts that were skeptical about the involvement of the Kremlin don't seem to question this makes me think it's not so weird that they were able to identify the substance well enough and that maybe the OPCW also wants to do some more specific tests to figure out for example how long ago it was made, besides just officially verifying the substance.

Its because she is in the 'inner circle'. I happen to know this because a girl I know knows about these things and she told me about it. Check tinfoilhat.com

I tend to agree with the premise of this article casting doubt on any blame being assigned so quickly. Remember that premature speculation is what led to the disastrous Iraq war based on completely fictious claims.

According to some Novichok developers (Vil Mirzayanov and others), there were a few kilos of the stuff produced, stockpiled in a shed and left to rot somewhere, so nobody knows where it is now and who's actually got it.
I still maintain that it wasn't the Russians. They're just not that stupid.

^ i agree with you totally. No matter what anybody thinks about Russians but you cannot claim that they are stupid. If they really pulled something like this off then they surely would've covered their tracks. One of the greatest fears after the collapse of the USSR was that all the stockpiles of weapons could fall into the wrong hands. I find it totally within the realms of possibility that before Russia got their economic act together a decade later that many of these chemicals and what have ya were sold off to the highest bidder. Even if the weapons originated from the territory that is now called Russia in no way implicates the identities of the miscreants who carried out these attacks. Also, for anyone who understands chemistry there are such things as chemical forgery. Evidence can be tampered with and there are plenty of legal cases in the US alone that have proven it.

I've heard from insiders that there will also be mass arrests over pedaphelia rings. Apparently at least half of our Congress (both Dem and Rep) are going down soon. There is currently a civil war in our government and i have been told that on a day soon there will be a mass assassination of those who don't surrender. If this is true (and i've plenty of reasons to consider it so) there will be a change of guard virtually overnight.
| I'm sorry but you're going further and further into the realm of parody for me. You think there's gonna be an imminent mass assassination of members of Congress? Are you willing to bet $1,000 with me that that's not going to happen in the next decade? |
Not that it adds or subtracts any credence to silly puppy's theory but the whole plot of the TV series Designated Survivor revolved around a blow up of the entire Congress (as Congress was in session) with very few surviving the attack. It is later revealed to have been plotted by a billionaire right winger with a private army who happens to have friends in govt departments as well as Congress.

Aye, it is unfortunate that the discourse has gotten so charged lately. Which also plays into the hands of the elite.

Aye, it is unfortunate that the discourse has gotten so charged lately. Which also plays into the hands of the elite. | Inside fighting serves nothing good for sure. I'm more interested in maintaining peace than being right. With so much going on right now it's hard to elegantly articulate one's stance without it becoming misinterpreted easily. I come to this site for music and do not feel these political threads are adding anything positive to it.

^I sure didn't mean to ridicule you, Puppy buddy. I'll still think you're one of the best reviewers on this site and a very nice guy, and a quick exchange of political thoughts shouldn't hurt any of that. Your thoughts here would probably benefit from an expansive overview of facts from your side but of course you're not forced to defend yourself.

I'm finding it impossible to convey my in depth studies in short blurbs. I'd rather focus on music than getting into all this. I'll have my own music and website out in the near future where I can articulate my ideas in a much more in depth level. However I can easily sum up the gist of my philosophy. Hmm..sorry if I've come off heavy handed with your views mr puP, but with truth turning into an opinion instead of a fact, someone has to push his agenda in what he regards as the truth and the need to protect it. I too find you a marvelous reviewer and a standup guy, even if I don't agree with your views. I do realize that what you expound on is what you consider the truth, so I do admire that. Please continue expanding on your views and don't go away from these posts. They would be quite boring and incomplete without you.
