We thought we'd give you a report on how the new collection and music video are advancing. We are relatively completed the process of blending Fathomless. This previous month we included the last vocal support track, and also the violin work by visitor violinist Alice Marie (who we plan to have the capacity to carry out with us for some live shows as timetables permit. We have completed last blends for the vast majority of the tunes on the collection and will wrap up blending chip away at the rest in the blink of an eye.

Update
The songs are currently being mastered and we should have that completed by the end of the week. I have also worked on the album art and put together the cd design for the packaging. Once the files are back from the mastering studio, I'll be uploading them along with the art files to the disc manufacturing plant. So current ETA on the album going public is sometime in October. PERFECT FOR HALLOWEEN GIFT GIVING THERE IS STILL TIME TO DONATE TO OUR FUNDRAISING CAMPAIGN. I'm taking down the campaign by October but if you want to help us out, there is still a little bit of time to do so. PLEASE donate at www.gofundme.com/theredmasque . Thank you |

The Red Masque New Album / New Music Video UPDATE New Album "Fathomless" Update The band recently shot a music video for "Fathomless" with filmmaker Jay Miller this past May. Special thanks to Gina Andreoli for the use of her studio space and to Jay for shooting the video! Jay has sent the band the footage and we are currently doing some final tweaks but the new video should be released very shortly. Keep watching our facebook page or your inbox for its debut.

Last night we worked on mixing "Malum", probably our most technically difficult song to date. We still have a ways to go on it, but you can hear some of our initial mixing here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a5wFkytvod0 We still are asking for donations for our GoFundMe campaign. Please help spread the word to help us reach our goal. Currently we are just shy of $1000 to reach our goal, but even if we could get half of that it would go a long way towards funding the new album. |

The Red Masque will be shooting a music video this weekend
for their song Fathomless with filmmaker Jay Miller . We are very excited as
this is the first music video we have had a chance to do. We'll keep you posted
but in the meantime we still need donations for the costs associated with the
video and new album production. We hope you will consider donating as well as
helping us spread the word. There are cool rewards at every donation level. Go
to www.gofundme.com/theredmasque .

Last night we were in the studio again working on mixes of "Fathomless". The song has all elements recorded except for one final violin part on the end, which violinist Alice Marie ( www.alicemarieviolin.com) will record in May (she's currently on tour with one of her bands).
We go back into studio Sunday to continue mixing so we can have a template to give to videographer Jay Miller so we can start blocking out the new video (which we are set to create in mid-late May). In the meantime, please enjoy this video clip of a work in progress mix of"Fathomless". Please help spread the word so we can reach our goal for the recording. All money raised will go toward video production and cd production and mastering costs. |

For $25 dollars you will get a physical copy of the new album, a digital download of our recent live album, "Live at the Kennett Flash" and Red Masque guitar pick. Plus there are many more rewards. Just a update: we have time booked with the filmmaker for late May to create the video for "Fathomless". This week we are headed back into the studio to record an intro ("Sand & Sea") and also a short musical reprise to "Fathomless" (called "Fearless"). It might seem like we have a lot of time, but the album will be out by summer, however, we need your help in order to cover the costs for CD Duplication / mastering and the video. Please donate what you can. Every donation level gets a reward. Help make this album a reality. And if you have donated already, thank you. Help spread the word far and wide. We can't do this without you. Edited by redvelvetone - March 15 2018 at 08:17 |

Thanks guys.
I was having trouble posting on this forum. I kept getting error messages every time I posted, but Jean just messaged me with a work around for that. So just seeing if it works. EDIT: It does! yay!

Lynnette Shelley, singer of The Red Masque, asked me in an e-mail to post this message from her, since for some reason she can't access ProgArchives on her computer, though she is a member. I will gladly oblige since they are an excellent band.
Help fund The Red Masque's new music video and new album! GoFundMe Campaign now live! There are rewards for donations at every level. DONATE HERE In
late September 2017, Philadelphia art rock band The Red Masque started
work on their fifth studio album (working title "Fathomless") at
PhillyJam Recording. Helmed by owner / engineer and Sigma Sound alumnus,
Mark J. Montoro, PhillyJam is also where TRM vocalist Lynnette Shelley
recently recorded with Green Cathedral on their album "Winter's Veil" . The
new album will feature the songs "Fathomless", "Where Once Were
Rivers", "The Shallows", "Serpentine", "Malum", "Snow Moon", "Silver
Scales" and "Sand & Sea." The band was also joined in the studio by
guest violinist Alice Marie . As
of March 2018, the band is nearing completion on recording the initial
tracks and will be starting to mix shortly. The new album should be
available by the summer. In
conjunction with this recording, the band will be working with
filmmaker Jay Miller to create an official music video for "Fathomless". The
Red Masque are seeking to raise money for both the production costs of
this music video as well as for the cd duplication and mastering costs.
Any additional money raised over the asked for amount will go back
towards paying the significant costs already invested in the recording
process and / or to get an upgraded CD product. We thank you in advance for your support as it means the world to us. The Red Masque www.theredmasque.com
