^Van Buren is a Dutch surname, in which "van" is a prefix.

Elfstedentocht participant in the 1986 edition, nowadays commonly known as King Willem-Alexander.
The Dutch Royal House uses the pseudonym "van Buren" on certain occasions.

^ I know it's a prefix like vonde, etc. but I wrote it the way it's done in the USA (he was American) where this prefix is treated like a separate entity. Wink
