Tough choice, I'm a fan of them both. But Kate is up there with the very very best and Bjoerk a tiny little bit behind. Voice-wise I couldn't choose, both are top.

Two random guys agreed to shake hands. Just Because. They felt like it, you know. It was an agreement of sorts...a random agreement.

Bjork for sure! Kate Bush is great, but Bjork is so unique in my opinion, and her parts are just so powerful! And her new releases are so good! And The Sugarcubes!

I think Kate is obviously great but I have listened to crazy Bjork more because she is so original and emotional but with the exception of Joni Mitchell and Laura Nyro Ella Fitzgerald and Blossom Dearie I don't listen to too many woman singers --

I like Bjork, but no contest against the best female solo artist.

B-Jork, baby! Her albums are masterfully recorded.

Kate Bush, so many outstanding songs, one of my favourites being the lesser known Coffee Homeground

You can find a bush of birch trees, one can be overwhelemd by the massive intertwineness of bushes, yet a birch tree can tower over the tidies bush, and with its white bark, becomes one with winter time .

I have to go with KB. The quirky female vocalist I'd put in 2nd place is Lene Lovich. Totally unique and crazy, but with a far more limited recording career than KB which I always thought was a shame...

Is this even a contest? Bjork sound like she's tone deaf.
|
Trust me. I know what I'm doing.

I mostly like Björk for the video where she explains how a television works.

interestingly i believe Björn have perfect pitch, which also can cause individuals who posess it an ability to experiment perhaps also even to level of it sounds tone-deaf

They tell me I should like Kate Bush but outside of a few good hooks I just don't give a damn about her sound (as far as there is a consistent one) so it must be Bjork, who created some of my all-time favourite albums and songs.

Yeah, props to Lovich are long overdue. Overlooked, really.
