Here's my comment:

Great, nothing but great...but I don't think that 'Home' is the best part to represent the album...maybe 'Overture 1928' or 'The Dance of Eternity' should be added to the archieves...it represents the prog part of DT best...'D

Scenes From a Memory is decent, but nothing more.  The songs have some cool melodies and I like the lyrics, but they tend to go on for a bit too long and get boring.  It's the only DT album I've heard, but it didn't really leave me wantin

I don't want to be contemptuous one more time with this band...so I won't give my impressions on this album...only too far from my musical preoccupations.

I downloaded the tracks, listened once, again and again. There are moments here and there, but..... I guess I'll listen a few more times. It's just not getting violent on me, nothing grabs me and slaps me around.

I saw Gentle Giant live way back in 1976 and they were just wonderful, but I enjoy Dream Theater just as much. SFAM is one of their best albums, but my desert island DT album is Awake.

I'm gonna keep throwing DT into the CD player and give it a go. But GG still reigns supreme.

i dont think that dance of eternity is the best song to represent the album for people who've never heard it before.

ive never known anyone to adore the track on their 1st listen to it. id suggest putting finally free or overture1
