Stunning.

Wilson's 5.1 remix of TFTO has helped me hear this album in new ways as well (as such things are meant to).

Thanks for sharing.
The damage that we do is just so powerfully strong we call it love

The damage that we do just goes on and on and on but not long enough.

I'm guessing they're isolating the center channel from the Steven Wilson 5.1 mixes - usually it contains isolated vocals or lead instruments. I've also seen some that cancel out the instrument mixes with the full mixes, leaving just the vocals - takes a bit more work, but it means you get all the harmonies.

It's neat to hear the little flaws and imperfections that are not noticeable in an ordinary listen.

It also shows how, even though Howe is not a powerful vocalist on his own, he was essential to the overall sound.

Squire remains my favorite of the three vocalists, however.  Smile

Although Anderson will always remain my favourite vocalist of any band and time, these tapes do remind us, Robert, of just how important Squire was vocally, and just what a lovely voice he had. Howe was also such an important component of the overall sound.

What a pity they all fell out..........

Yes worked out their harmonies themselves, I heard Chris Squire say so somewhere once and frankly it comes as little surprise.

Great iso stem, Jon and Chris' voices are clear. I'm guessing the 3rd voice is Howe?

Strange first post ikr? Hi all.

I am not particularly interested in isolation - I just want a button on my CD player to 'Mute Saxophone' - Tis the one instrument that to me has no place in prog.
Very big disappointment was when seeing Hackett recently he had that saxophonist on "Cinema Show" - completely ruined it for me......
