The real scares happen if you answer the woman, nobody who’s ever talked to the woman has lived to tell the tale.

I assume any elevator will do? What happens if the building I'm in doesn't have a 10th floor?

I think the elevator is supposed to have at least 10 (ten) floors or else it won't work.

It has to be in a building with at least ten floors, yes. But the complexity and size of the alternate realm depends also on several other things. You'll find that buildings you see or enter often will not work as magic is an art based on uncertainty and unknowns. For the best results it should be a building that has history and that ideally inspires awe in yourself. Again, unfamiliarity is a catalyst for magic and frankly if you're not awed by your ritual-building, you might be too familiar with it. Something else to look for for truly fantastical results is buildings with a thirteenth floor that actually lists the thirteenth floor rather than skipping to fourteen. If you're brave enough, try to find a building with exactly thirteen floors.

why does magick have to be some complicated? I'm only familiar with buildings that I'm familiar with.

I listened to Imikuzushi. The second and third tracks outstayed their welcome a bit, but it's otherwise v v cool stuff.

Also, I keep listening to Third again thinking my opinion will change, but it only gets worse to me.

You can easily verify it by trying it out yourself. If it works, it's clearly not fake. If it doesn't, you must be doing something wrong.

Hainoboy tends to do that. (Although I didn't find that to be the case with that particular album, I can see why you'd say that)

And Soft Machine's Third?

Yeah, SM's. Part of it seems to do with the way it was recorded. It just feels very dull and energy-less even though that probably wasn't the case with the performances.

Also, pertaining O'Rourke and Ambarchi, Behold is neat.

What can I do about the papercut that I incurred while trying it out myself?
