Seems like the cap-a-doodle thingy has ramped up in frequency. I'm getting it on nearly every post now.

out of 7 or 8 posts today, I've only had it twice and failed only once  (after three photo-clicking stages)

But I've got the habit of copying my post before posting it.

A (hopefully) helpful FYI. I've managed to bypass most of these captchas by running on Google Chrome with Adblock (and the plus version) installed. It seems to decrease not only the frequency with which one is bombarded by these insufferable things, but also makes it so that when they do appear, you do not have to solve it to continue. It displays a more or less blank page with a 'done' option. Click it and you're all set.

Again, not ideal. Might not work for everyone, but it's saving me some grief, so I thought I'd mention it. Better than nothing, yeah?

It's an extension that blocks comments on websites like youtube, but it's possible the script might also target certain captchas.

I just got a captcha while previewing this post for example and it didn't require me to complete anything. It just gave me a mostly blank page with a "I'm not a robot" button that let me continue on hassle free. The above mentioned extension is the only other thing I can think of that might be having this effect. If that doesn't work, then it's anybody's guess. Wacko

I thought I was, it's just now and then I have these amazing insights that I just have to post - and then it gets me. I managed to get through the previous captcha of a blurred road sign, let's see what happens with this.

I have been on somewhat of a break from PA during the last year or so only popping by occasionally, and now that I am drawn back and genuinely want to chit chat and perhaps even do a review or two - this capcha nonsense completely ruins the experience.

The max I went though is for stages, and that was yesterdayCensored... and it ended up denying me access OuchDeadNukePig

I have learned to "overcome" this nonsense but FOND OF IT?!!!! I can't believe i just read those words Shocked

Patiently waiting for this to be resolved. Some days are buggier than others. THere's is no rhyme or reason to this and there has to be a better way. 

Maybe we just need to train the robots to improve the site instead of attack it LOL
