I'm looking for a CD player with Aux capabilities with great sound quality. I'm looking for something that is under $1,000. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I've got good news for you - CD players have very much the same (good) quality these days, nothing to be invented on that front.
Search for the functions you need (for example some have internal memory for playlist database), the looks that appeal you the most and no need to spend too much - money won't get you better SQ here, good recordings and the right speakers will.

It's only my opinion, though Geek

1) What do you mean "with AUX capabilities"?

Do you want to be able to plug in like a memory stik or a digital player and play those files thru the CD player?

This one can be had for about US$500, less prolly if you go used or refurb. I have the previous version C545BEE, for the few CDs I play it is one of the best sub $1K players I have ever owned.

2) For speakers, what amplifier do you currently have?

Maybe you should check an amplifier with DAC, like this one (800$ more or less)

or this "thing" (sorry, my english s not good enough to give a proper name, but you plug it into your hifi system and connect it via bluetooth to your phone) for 149$ on amazon

Most of which makes some CD players so expensive is its enternal DAC or if it has a hi RES MQA support music streamer built with in it. It's easy to get convinced that it is 'ok' to spend 5,000$ or more on a stand alone player.
Personally, I'd never go this route. I think buying a decent Blu-ray player while adding on an external stand alone DAC that's around $700-1000$ is a great way to go to achieve awesome audio quality without completely destroying your wallet. You'll save a lot of money. Most DAC's these days support IOS and Android devices to link up to your systems sound chain for accessibility.
So to answer to the OP's quote. Get a solid blu ray player and a stand alone DAC.
I take it the AMP portion is taken care of, but this is the route I'd take.
I'm also not a fan of music streamers, so this is just my suggestion.

Good luck!! Buying audio toys is the greatest fun on earth. :)
Gimmie my headphones now!!! 🎧🤣
