I just bought a Genesis DVD. Footings of 3 shows. 30.10.73 Shepperton Studios (I have the impression that it is the show which appears in the Box set) It was shot by the BBC I suppose. There are about 60 minutes of the Selling England Tour with all the characters : Britannia, Old King Cole, Watcher, Flower ... You have all the spoken Gabriel Intros which are quiet funny especially the one for Suppers Ready. The overall sound and image quality is OK. The 2 other shows are 20.12.733 NBC/Burbank and 20.04/74 Motreal. These 2 look like 4th generation video tape transferred to DVD and are not so hot. Genesis :live (FNM 0284)I bought it in a shop in Germany which does MailOrder www.zweitausendeins.de

jesus, I wish I could get that,

The only Genesis dvds I find around here are all phil collins pop(wembley stadium, the way we walk, etc.), Documentaries (genesis songbook), and the only one that is the prog side of genesis is the "Genesis 1975-1980" dvd, but it's mostly a documentary about how they "rose from progressive icons, to best selling hit machines." with some live footage thrown in.
I burned a live show of genesis from the internet onto cd to play on my dvd player though, but still, it's during the seconds out tour, so it's still phil collins!

I want a gabriel show for f**k's sake. lol.

CD
Genesis "THE LAMB LIES DOWN ON BROADWAY"
Digitally remastered. 2 CDs 15,99 EUR. Nr. 31337. Add to Orderpad.
Mehr zu Pop.

Is this the CD of the Lamb, or an actual video?
If this isn't a video, does anybody know where I can get one? I really want to see the whole Lamb done live on stage.

No complete Lamb exists (not in private hands anyway).

There are rumours a half Lamb show (audience shot) is in private hands, but that one is kept hidden. Al that is available are short audienceshot pieces from various dates/places and one small pro-shot piece of Gabriel performing In the cage/Slipperman/The Musical box. But that comes top a total of a few minutes.

The best version on DVD is a version that was recently made by a fan who took all the various available snippets (all silent 8mm), put them in the correct order and at the right speed and then synchronised them to one of the available live soundboard audio recordings. The best result I have seen. But still audienceshot.
