have these new-fangled Shower CD players - and thus can listen to prog in the shower ??

I wouldn't trust one - I'd play a self made compilation just in case water gets in it !!!

I just crank up the CD player in my bedroom. Usually I have to stick something my wife likes into it first. Then I get what I like!

I used to have a  waterproof Walkman, but not for shower (Just turn the stereo in my bedroom louder), I used it when I went to the beach and stayed a couple of hours in the surfboard.

But to be honest didn't lasted too much, one day one of the seals broke and it was the end of it, don't know if technology has improved  to make it safe enough.
