Well, bandcamp seems to be the last resort to avoid FB https://rodrigosanmartin.bandcamp.com/ |

^ I'm not sure we need "to avoid FB". Personally I hate this unstructured crapyard, but it's probably the most popular resource these days. Lots of bands and artists close their sites and move to FB.

Hi,
Can someone advise on how best to update the entries for the various bands on my label? http://progressivegears.com Some of the information is out of date and other stuff just needs updated. Thanks, Gino. |

Gino, if I get your question right, you should :
- Post here the correct info in need of updating - Insert the links to the album/artist page on PA (preferably in a clickable format) - Additionally provide the sources so we can check its reliability Is that too much for you? (Can you imagine the time we consume correcting wrong additions ? Any help is very, very welcome) Thanks, see you soon (I hope ) Edited by Quinino - April 20 2017 at 07:01 |

^ Thanks, done. Chose a pic similar to the first one, but slightly different. Looks better than before but far from perfection.

I don't think so. Black and white photos will look too small, "hornbringers" are ridiculous. FB page, unlike Wiki, is regularly updated (forthcoming gigs etc).

a) As can be easily confirmed they are most of the time a 5-piece band, the chosen photo pictures a different scene (and the theatrical nature is part of their live act, nothing we can/should discriminate "per se") b) I give in about the Fb "live" nature (I tend to focus on the "archival/historical" side of the info we keep, my fault) Edited by Quinino - April 21 2017 at 06:14 |

^ OK, I give up with these "hornbringers". Changed the photo, wait now until it shows (the same cache issue).

^ You do realize we are choosing the less bad out of two ridiculous photos ? (strange hobby we entertain )
BTW, here we have another case http://www.progarchives.com/artist.asp?id=1290 Link is gone, try one of these http://www.angelfire.com/ar2/vincentcrane/ http://https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Atomic_Rooster The one with Palmer, what do you say ? - Thanks, done. Obviously with Palmer.
