Clap Are you familliar with their music or are you just starting to discover them? Faust is not an easy band to get into (especially the debut), in my opinion, but it's well worth it. Personally, I found that once I've got through the "experimental" skin, I found something I have been familiar with at the heart. One of my favorite German bands of all time.
Categories strain, crack and sometimes break, under their burden - step out of the space provided.

I'm starting to discover them, very interesting album to say the least, I felt at home when I was listening to it. I'll check "The Wümme Years 1970-73".

I'm surfing through Teenbeat Reprise right now.

Shooting at the Moon and Whatevershebringswesing are my favorites, lovely works.

Teenbeat Reprise is actually my favorite Henry Cow track - incredibly beautiful.
Yes, Shooting at the Moon is amazing, great balance of quality songwriting and experimentation. I don't remember Whatevershebringswesing all that well, will need to come back to that one.
