two updates:

Chris Thompson

Chris Thompson, lead singer of "Manfred Mann’s Earth Band" from the 70’s. With "The Mads Eriksen Band" he will perform a unique selection of songs from the "MMEB" Prog Years. From "Messin’" thru "Solar Fire" to "The Roaring Silence". This will be the first time this show will be performed!

There was some discussion if it is Yes or ARW, but the promoter answered with

"this is the first show that can be announced like that. Approved by the management - we got the Artwork from them as well"

David Cross Band (UK)

Please welcome DAVID CROSS (Ex-King Crimson) and Band to the Festival. With Craig Blundell (Steven Wilson) on drums and special guest David Jackson (Van der Graaf Generator) he will perform on Saturday 15th songs from his new album plus some songs from KC and VDGG...

probably the last udate, as the scheduled times for each band and the DoorsOpen times are now available.

Updated the first post with all relevant informations. Are any of you going to the festival as well ?

ok, this is ... i don't have words ...

official announcement just posted on the Facebook page of the festival:

KANSAS regretfully announces the cancellation of its 2017 European Tour. The cancellation is based on safety and security warnings issued by the United States government and various U.S. law enforcement agencies concerning Americans traveling in Europe this summer. KANSAS is extremely saddened that the band will not be able to perform for its European fans this year. (Kansas will post this tonight on their website and FB Site)

It'd be pretty sweet to see Gong and Seven Impale live but perhaps a tad foolish to frequent a festival because of two gigs.
Anyway best of luck to anyone who decides to go
