I don't know what to choose, I like Rubber Soul, Abbey Road, White Album, Revolver the most. As for their rock'n'roll years, I like For Sale, Help and the debut quite a bit.

Rubber Soul is a fantastic recording as it was also pretty much the start of later Beatles. No Revolver without Rubber Soul first

Abbey Road by a long ways. Revolver for a good second. I must admit that I most definitely did not like the Beatles at first. I saw their appearances on The Ed Sullivan Show in early 1964 (I was 7 at the time) and was not impressed. It wasn't until around Hard Day's Night that I began pay some attention to their music. From there they just kept getting better. Even now I still don't care for their earliest releases but I really like their later albums.

Despite their ridiculous amount of classic songs and how they almost singlehandedly changed the history of popular music atleast once - there's really no album by them I enjoy from start to finish. Here's my top four among the ones that comes the closest:

Rubber Soul 1 (my vote) - Revolver 10. It's ok to like Revolver more, but the distance between both records shouldn't be that huge, IMO.
About Abbey Road being their best record...mmmh...side B is the BEST thing The Beatles ever recorded. Side A, on the other hand, is really lackluster.

It's considered a studio album, because it has new songs that weren't on previous releases, and it's too long for an EP, but technically yes, it isn't. Similar case it's Rolling Stone's "Flowers".
Maybe that's the reason it's a bit underrated, I think it's slightly better than Sgt. Pepper's, who gets much more credit (I compare it to it because it came out the same year and is somewhat similar).

I'm surprised that Rubber Soul only has one vote at the moment to Revolver's ten votes. There was a time when, at least after Sgt. Pepper's, those two were the most popular answers to "What is your favorite Beatles album," and it was almost always 50/50 between the two. Of course, eleven votes isn't a very large sample, but I'm still surprised there's only ONE vote for Rubber Soul.
At any rate, "The White Album" is easily my favorite, so that's what I voted for.

. . . which clocked in at 19 minutes.
In other words, it was side A of the US release, just with the tracks in a different order. That was it It was more like a "double single," as it was pressed on two 7" vinyl, 45 rpm records.
The following tracks, from side B of the US version, were not on the UK release:
Hello, Goodbye
Strawberry Fields Forever
Penny Lane
Baby, You're a Rich Man
All You Need Is Love
So if we're sticking to the UK releases, those tracks shouldn't be considered for Magical Mystery Tour . . . well, at least not re sticking to the versions of the albums that were available prior to 1976.

And that's the thing. Most voters in this poll will vote for the more proggier of the Fabs' albums. Rubber Soul, although a standout, is probably not best categorized among that group as it still maintained some of the stronger aspects of their earlier efforts. Revolver, the boy's true launch into the counter culture at the time, signifies, dare I say, a break from the past on the way towards a more assured self-reliance in the recording studio, an aspect responsible for the group's most satisfying period of work.
