Magical Mystery Tour. The dbl. 7" version. Then Revolver, then (most of) Sgt. Pepper's...........then Abbey Road, then forget it. Never a big fan of the Fab-Four, but credit where credit's due.

no, it's not a compilation.

The OP says "I am only polling their UK releases
". MMT was originally an EP (or 2 EPs to be precise) in the UK and a number of other countries and album in the US (consisting of the EP and singles from around the time). It wasn't released as an official album in the UK until 1976. The Beatles never went in the studio to make an album called "Magical Mystery Tour".

Believe it or not, I've not heard all of those albums.
Everything I've heard from Rubber Soul onward is pretty good. As for whole albums I love RS, Revolver, Sgt Pepper and The White album.
I really need to listen to Abbey Road again. Let it Be bored me.

Even though it's got no votes, and I didn't vote for it, I just want to say "Only A Northern Song" has the best bassline in a Beatles song. (Edited as this Tablet misspelt bassline)

Rubber Soul, Revolver, Pepper, White Album, and Abbey Road are all good in my book......hard to choose. I'm a bit surprised Pepper only has 2 votes so far.

Never studied the bassline to that song as it's an awful song and I try not to listen to it. I'll have to check it out now.

1) Abbey Road and Sgt Pepper 2) ALL the Others I found out that here was "grown up music" when I was 6 years old listening to "With the Beatles" and I really love all of their records.

Went with Revolver; I can pretty much enjoy the whole thing (although "Here, There and Everywhere" kinda pushes the mush), and at least half of the songs are amazing.
If I was to choose a single side though, it would be side three of The Beatles (White Album) which is often ballsy, sometimes gorgeous and practically flawless. "Helter Skelter" gets proper accolades for heaviness, but that "Yes we're going to a party party" bit in "Birthday" is mean E-chord abusing punk madness...love it!
