Sagi, I’ll have to get on Youtube and compare both versions of the Libra album. I’m not sure if there was any re-recording instrumentally of the album to accommodate the English adaption, or it was as simple as re-recording the vocals over the top. The English version was seamless though, you'd never be able to tell if was an Italian album if you didn't know the background of the LP.

Looking forward to exploring more Wasappou albums if I come across them after recently picking up the debut, which was a blind-buy that turned out well!

I have a soft spot for that Arkham album for some reason, it's hardly a standout album in my collection but I love returning to it every now and then even though the sound quality is poor. But once you've past that there is much to enjoy there.

And keep that RPI string of albums you've got into, there are so many albums to discover if you keep digging in, it just never stops. And don't forget some albums require a lot of patience before their beauty is revealed (in your case probably Darwin!).

Oh man that's great I love that band! I think the album I've listed is their best actually and the one I keep returning to the most, I always thought their style is kind of a mix between Alpes (Kathrine Ribeiro) and Sensations Fix kind of sound.
I just love this album so much, definitely grab that one if you ever come across it ( oh and another M. Efekt album of course

I have the blood-red vinyl edition of it, fellas, I recall Tom Ozric and I got them at the exact same time. They actually used to still frequently show up in stock on many online vinyl vendors, but I haven't checked it for years now at this point.

Not only is the CD version also out of print, but WHY have the players not delivered a second album?!

I recently watched the first `Phantasm' movie from 1979, and I swear a few of the Mellotron-drenched themes from that soundtrack were begging to be played by this group!

This is the `Phantasm' soundtrack album I think they'd do a terrific interpretation of parts of. It honestly sounds just like a lost Goblin soundtrack (and it's even funky in parts like `Roller' too!

. I might have to try and snap up a copy of it, I think!

You know, Sam, that is why I pretty much never trade in prog albums second hand anymore, even if they're albums I don't particularly like. Within a few years, most of them are sold out and deleted, and very possibly never to be reissued again, and then the prices skyrocket as the years tick over. You've heard my horror stories over the years on the Archives of some really rather good (and rare) prog albums that I ditched for only a few dollars that I should have hung on to. I don't make that mistake anymore!

The `Phantasm' movie is actually a bit of a mixed bag! Diabolical acting and an incoherent dream-like story (although die-hard fans would probably praise it for that), but visually there's some very cool moments and the soundtrack is wonderful! I wouldn't go out of your way to track it down, but it's still worth a watch!

Tangerine Dream - Phaedra Not as good of a record quality as yesterday's Tangerines. There are not that many bigger dings or scratches, but when the pieces get quieter, you can hear a campfire. Still, Phaedra sounds amazing on vinyl, David, you were right! Smile

Mike Oldfield - Incantations I had never heard this album when my dad was convincing me to buy this double album for 3 quid. I'm so glad I did! It's pretty much classic Oldfield compositions with a pretty meditative feel to them, caused by harmonically shifting phrases repeated over and over again. The orchestral work is excellent, too. And the quality is MINT! Not a single pop!

Cervello - Melos Hmm... It's interesting to say the least. Often do Italian Prog albums have influences of hard rock, but this one is a bit different. The guitar work is absolutely stunning and the conservative use of keyboards forces them to explore very distinctive territories.

Osanna - Palepoli I'd say it's quite similar to the previous one. Probably not as well composed, but, for me, far more enjoyable than the previous one. It's a game of shadows, contrasts. Kind of primitive, yet incredibly rewarding. Great!

Gryphon - Red Queen To Gryphon Three I bought this on vinyl a while ago, but was unable to listen to it. Man, it's such a great album. In terms of composition, Gryphon boys were very nifty. And the sounds on here are also very unique.
