The big story in the conservasphere the past few days has been "OMG OBAMA PAID RANSOM/JIZYA TO IRAN !$!$!$!$!". And this is quite the doozy these numbskulls have tricked themselves into believing, but the biggest things are (I) that it took them almost seven months to finally pull this out of their asses, when they could've made themselves look a little less stupid by whining about it at the fact, when it was fresh and already explained to be a settlement, lest we lose billions more when we likely would've lost the case in question...
... and (II) Trump, who loves devouring feet, trying to claim he saw some video of the portion of the settlement paid in Swiss francs being transferred, filmed by the Revolutionary Guards and released to embarrass us. Yeah right. Finally, mercifully, he's been forced to backtrack. Champagne time. Also, here's yet more polling that shows how Trump's doomed. When I called the election for Hillary months back, I didn't expect it to get this bad for Corn Hair. But there you go. And since Trump shows no signs of dropping out yet, the GOP has already lost NC: that state demands that names get put on ballots by today. Sad!

^ yep... a desperate attempt likely to change the narrative of the Trump campaign death spiral. I haven't checked but almost willing to bet my paycheck that story is front and center on the Faux website.
and yeah laughing at the notion of encouraging Trump to drop out... is that how bad it has got for the GOP. Edited by micky - August 05 2016 at 14:35 |

All good points, but the black vote?-- she'll get it in whatever percentages it turns out to be. She'll get it in Virginia and Tennessee. She'll get it in California and Oregon and Arizona (are there black people left in Arizona?). She'll get it in DC, Florida, Virginia, the Carolinas, even Oklahoma, and I mean in the 90%. Hispanic and Asian blocs are harder to foresee, but our bruthas & sistas love 'ems some Clintons, and I don't blame them. Edited by Atavachron - August 05 2016 at 17:55 |

Of all my relatives and friends of Indian origin in US, I know exactly one who really loathes Clinton and even he may NOT vote for Trump, would have gone for Sanders. Maybe he will think of Gary Johnson now, don't know and haven't asked. My circle covers the East Coast, Midwest and West Coast. But I do have to say these are all relatively well to do people, i.e., not that section of society to whom Trump's populism may appeal. Further I think at this point xenophobia seems to outweigh populism in his speeches.

The best thing about this whole political situation is how so many of the media are starting to show their true colors.....That unless they have a script in front of their faces they struggle at saying anything intelligent on their own.
Fareed's take is nothing short of pathetic attempt at explanning why he used the term "BS artist". Trying to bring intelligence to his elementary explanation of Trump, had he included the beloved Hillary, it would have added some credibility to his BS commentary. Some of these people have joined Hillary the Criminal and Trump the Braggart in the gutter....hilarious. |

Sure, perhaps but as high as Obama scored (94%)... really? However my point was is it likely she'll get the 6% (1 million black voters) that Trump has lost?
What about Texas, Alabama, Louisiana and Mississsippi? I mean, why are they Republican exactly? Texas gets a free pass because 70% of the population is living proof that cowboys f**ked buffalo, but Mississippikiyaymuthalovers?

Are you sure that so many American Blacks still "love 'em some Clintons" and their democratic party? |

Yes... very sure. The numbers bear it out. In the primaries ....well... considering how badly Hillary did with the youth, if not for massive black turnout.. good chance Bernie would have won the nomination. Polls now are showing Hillary is winning 9 of 10 Black votes. Because of the Black vote, not just in percentage but shear numbers N.C is in her column, performing as well turning out hte votes to 2008 Obama levels... and perhaps meeting or exceeding that in Georgia. Why? Why not vote for Trump instead Because they don't blame Obama for the systematic racism that is the root cause of most, though not all, problems that face their community. Obama couldn't change that in only 8 years, especially with a hostile congress opposing him. |

I mean, are American blacks really going to vote for the guy who retweets white supremacists and cites their bullsh*t "statistics" claiming crisis levels of "black on white murder"?
Nope, they're voting for Hillary. There's my little African American! - Cheeto Jesus, 2016

I believe so as well. Poverty levels have risen for all Americans regardless of race since the "recession" of 2008, and has little to do with whichever president you plopped in at that point - in the present Demoblican or Republicrat structure, only big business has gained and that won't change any time soon without radical shifts in policy. Crime overall has been dropping for years, although the perception of crime has changed. But the vast majority of African-Americans will vote for whomever the Democrats throw up because the alternatives, like Trump or Cruz will only make matters worse for them. If you are Hispanic or Muslim, you would most likely be edgy regarding a Trump presidency as well.

of course she will.. not that it will make a difference... @Dean remember your history... the great northern migration of blacks... generally a 3rd of the deep south today is black... Georgia is a special case. It isn't just increased black participation in elections. Now around 60%... same as whites.. that has Georgia in play. It is the hispanics and more educated, and generally northern carpetbaggers. Georgia's map may soon look like Va's.. a hell of a lot of red... but blue where it counts.. the urban higher income and better educated diverse areas of much higher population density around Atlanta. those single areas can swing entire states.. the Democrats have a 500,000 vote advantage built in around the Philladelphia.. by my last calculation.. nearly a 400,000 vote advantage in the D.C suburbs of Virginia makes up for a lot of rural red areas with the barest fractions of those populations involved Edited by micky - August 06 2016 at 13:29 |

Indeed, she is a demonic witch. News presstitutes in the west just love
calling her "Secretary Clnton" as to suggest that she deserves the
title of respect. The opposite is true. She was a horrible, miserable
Secretary of State and she would be the worst war mongering evil
president......................She likes to talk about Donald Trump
being too erratic to be allowed to access the nuclear trigger. But no
bigger nightmare faces mankind were she to get her grubby blood-stained
hands on it..............

hahahha... sorry Jim. Can't go there...I'm already feeling weirded out by having an powerful lust for pantsuits and the potential of leader of the free world...I'm not sure my libido could handle two of them. Thankfully Jill Stein didn't pass muster on the Mick o'meter.
However Ann always has... always will move the meter |
