Sounds like I will need to check it out. I am a big Tom Petty fan, but like I said I didn't really care for the first Mudcrutch album.
The country vibe (no prob. for me in small doses) is still there and I can easily recommend it to Petty fans but if the first left you a bit cold, it would be wise to listen before buying. I think you'll enjoy.
