Robin of Sherwood and the Sorcerer :
In 1180, the village of Loxley is razed by the king's soldiers, lead by
Robert de Rainault. The village thane, Ailric, flees with his 4 year old
son, Robin. He leaves Robinwith the miller, Matthew, and then goes to
Rhiannon's Wheel, where he is ambushed by de Rainault, who admits he used
the raid as an excuse to get the Silver Arrow, a cult object Ailric is the
guardian of. Before dying, Ailric utters the cryptic words "He is coming...
the Hooded Man is coming....".
1195, Robin of Loxley, the miller's foster son, finds his brother
Much in the forest having killed one of the king's deer with Robin's bow,
which Much had borrowed without his permission. It becomes obvious Much is
a bit simple. The Abbot of St. Mary's steward, Sir Guy of Gisburne, catches
them and they are thrown into Nottingham gaol where they meet fellow fugitive
Will Scathlock, now called Scarlet after killing two of the soldiers who raped
and killed his wife, Tom the Fletcher and Dickon of Barnesley. They escape,
and in the process Robin is caught inside the keep. He gets inside the castle,
and stumbles into the room of Lady Marion of Leaford, the Abbot's ward who
lives at Nottingham castle, as the Abbot Hugo de Rainault's brother
Robert de Rainault is the sheriff. Robin is smitten with 17 year old Marion,
whose father died in the Holy Land. He then jumps out her window, safely
landing and racing off into Sherwood.
A powerful baron who picked up daemon worshiping while in the
Holy Land wants Marion for a virgin sacrifice, and barders for her with the
de rainault brothers. He also explains that the Hooded Man, a fugitive
prophesied to come and lead the oppressed people against their oppressors,
is on his way, and soon the Sheriff will beg his help. Marion annouces she
is going to a convent, and has no intention of marrying the Baron de Belleme.
Meanwhile, in the forest, Robin is visited by a strange apparition: a man
with the head of a deer who announces he is Herne the Hunter, and he has chosen Robin to be his son, to act as a balance between the powers of light and
darkness. At first Robin is afraid, but then he comes to accept his role as
Herne's SOn, the Hooded Man. Scarlet, Much, Tom and Dickon think he's nuts,
but go along with him anyway. His words give them the spirit
to fight against the Normans. They ambush Gisburne and his men, who are
escorting the Lady Marion to Kirklees abbey. Robin has Guy tied over
his horse, and led back to St. Mary's with a message for the Sheriff:
Sherwood is his domain now.
Marion admits she cares for Robin , but asks he take her to Kirlees anyway,
despite Robin's comment that she doesn't "look like a nun". Belleme
sends a "giant" he has found and enchanted after Robin, a sheperd from
Hathersage named John Little. Robin knocks him out during a quarterstaff
battle at the river,and wipes the upside down pentagram from his chest
thus breaking the spell. "Little" John joins them, and the Baron then sends
soldiers to kidnap Marion from Kirklees, knowing the Robin will come to resuce
her.
Loxley insists on going alone, armed with the silver arrow the sheriff
had taken from his father Ailric 15 years before, the prize in the archery
contest he had staged as a trap to catch Robin. Robin escaped with Herne's
Arrow, a mystical object the baron lusts after, believing it will give him
the power of a god. Robin pretends to be enchanted by the baron's magic,
and when the baron orders him to kill Marion, for his sacrifice to his pet
daemon, Robin raises the dagger, then whirls on the baron and stabs him
through the heart with the Arrow.
Then the Baron's saracen slave, Nasir, who shot for him at the archery contest,
lets Robin escape the baron's castle, as Robin freed him from slavery.
However, fearing for Robin's safety, Little John led the rest of the
band to Castle de Belleme, where they are attacked by the sheriff's
soldiers. In the open country, against trained soldiers, half the band
die, including Tom and Dickon. The remaining members, Robin, Marion,
Much, John, Will and Tuck, the sheriff's chaplin and Marion's only friend
at Nottingham Castle, flee to Sherwood where they are joined by the silent
saracen, Nasir.
The Witch of Elsdon:
Jennet of Elsden and her husband are accused of witchcraft and sentenced to death by Abbot Hugo . The sheriff of Nottingham offers to spare their lives if Jennet will use her powers to render Robin Helpless at the mercy of Gisburne and his men
Seven Poor Nights Form Acre:
Robin faces the wrath of the knights Templars, seven fighting monks amongst the most feared warriors in europe led by the fanatical Reynard De Villaret, as they believe he has stolen their sacred emblem.
alan a Dale:
a broken hearted minstrel arrives in Sherwood threatning to kill the Sheriff . His name is Alan a Dale and the object of his affetions, Mildred the daughter of Baron De Bracey , is being forced to marry the sheriff. Robin Decides to help the young lovers.
The Kings Fool:
Robin rescues a strange knight from ambush and earns the grattitude if the most powerful man in England , King Richard , recntly returned from imprisonment in Europe. He is invited to fight by the Kings side in Normandy , an invitation he eagerly accepts, but the relationship sours.
Season 2: The Prophecy;
Prince John descends on Nottingham with a mysterious prisoner whose identity is closely guarded . The outlaws devise a plot to free the captive not realising why or what his impact will have on them all, especially Marion!
The Children of Israel:
Joshua de Talmont is owed a great deal of money by the Sheriff, who uses the precedent of the Jewish massacre in York to stir up a riot under cover of which he intends to murder the Jewish merchant
Lord of The Trees:
In the Sheriff's absence gisburne hires a band of ruthless Flemish mercenaries led by a former companion in arms Bertrand de Nivelle, to kill Robin Hood.
The Enchantment:
lilith , an evilenchantress, bewitches Robin persuading him to steal the sacred Silver Arrow- Symbol of freedom- from Hernes Cave.
The Swords of Wayland (Part One) :
Robin and the outlaws leave Sherwood to defend a distant village from the hounds of Lucifer, eerily clad horsemen who terrorise the neighbourhood. They are the servants of a powerful coven ruled by Morgwyn of Ravenscar --oooo a nun
The Swords of Wayland (Part Two):
Morgwyn bewitches the outlaws to turn them against their leader and Robin is alone locked in combat with the most powrful of Darkness....Lucifer
The Greatest Enemy

The Sheriff , threatend by King John with loss of office , should he fail to finally dispose of Robin Hood, sets up a successful ambush from which only Marion and Much escape
