I'm sure you'll like it. I didn't know the keyboardist was the one from Sinoia Caves but I guessed correctly because some tracks sound a lot like it Smile

Well, if we learned something from Pierre is that ducks are sexier LOL

He's from France. The land of the duck. No sense of objectivity there.

That's too bad, Sam. I've been pretty lucky considering how many vinyls I've ordered from outside the US.
A few weeks ago I received an order of three albums from a seller in Europe and all the covers had one corner that was crushed. The damage to each cover was identical so it was obvious that it happened at the same time.
When I contacted the seller he wanted a picture of the damage and that made me think that he might try to somehow get out of replacing the albums. Since they were all colored vinyl and two were double albums plus CD I thought he might not have replacements in stock.
But, after he saw the picture he emailed that replacements would be shipped right away and he did not want the damaged albums returned. The replacements arrived in less than a week in perfect condition.

^ Wow, that's a great seller Thumbs Up In my case it was very carefully packed (the seller even wrote "FRAGILE" on the package), along with another CD to offer, but when I opened it, it was full of little pieces of plastic. I hope I have a spare double CD case for the other. I don't know if the plastic part of the digipak can be replaced, it looks glued to the cover.

When I was buying a lot of CDs the most common damage was the little tabs in the enter of the tray that held the CD in place.

Oh well, it could be worse. Fortunately the CD plays perfectly.
Yes, that's very common. It happened to me earlier this month.

Man, it's a bummer when you get and album with a crushed corner . I always thought since that happens 'in transit' that sellers DO NOT assume responsibility, even if their packaging is top-notch......

^  I think it depends on whether or not they insure the package. I think that may be why they didn't ask me to return the damaged albums. If the insurance covered the loss then they didn't need the damaged albums.

On a side note, the damage was only to the covers. The colored vinyl and CDs are in brand new condition.

^ You can probably still get something for these LP's, after all even albums without covers can be sold.

My Ozrics 'Pungent Effulgent' album arrived like this many years ago.
The Koloss LP (Meshuggah) just had a dinged corner. Still, handlers along the way should take more care, no matter how something is packed.
I got my 26 lbs 'crate' from Greg Walker today. Spent the last hour just unwrapping them !! 23 records, total. My half-yearly binge.

^  Whoa...that's the largest "one time" order I have ever seen. Thumbs Up

Before I started buying new vinyl I ordered a lot of CDs from Greg and he packs everything carefully and securely.

Ordered this morning...

The Samuel Jackson Five - Collection Box  (4xLP box set - clear gold vinyl)
(It is used but in near mint condition)

After a long search I could only find one copy of this and fortunately it was in the US so shipping was only $10.

Chances are, you won't see me posting any 'recent purchases' for quite some time.
Here's a lot that will take me months to absorb, as well as spinning certain other selections in my collection.
In this case, I have just spun random tracks, odd sides etc. I don't think I've purchased anything near to a 'dud' in this lot.
And I am well aware that I'm missing out on sooo many great Prog releases that are 'CD only' - but, regardless that my passion is all this FANTASTIC music, I chase vinyl. So rewarding, so satisfying.

^^  That's the way to do it, one big order and one big delivery.
I always seem to have fifteen to twenty LPs ordered that will arrive one or two at a time.
More shipments means more chance of damage. Unhappy
