so Raff left Tuesday...

the McMenu of unapproved meals...

Tuesday -  a pepperoni cheesesteak..
Wednsday - A roast beef Quesadilla (the one thing I can cook at home)
Thursday - a burger from the bar across the street
Friday - a Reuben from the bar across the street. Excellent but didn't have the heart to tell Amber she mispelled Ruben on the special board LOL.

my heart misses Raff.. my stomach though is in high heaven. Haven't touched a vegetable all week! LOL

that is one thing I miss about my single days... being a  barfly..  met a guy there as I killed 6 Newcastles with dinner and we had a great time throwing french fries at the T.V when the Foxnews brought out Carl Rowe from whatever hole I thought he had craweled into and my god how we laughed when we saw this replayed...

damn that man needs to drink more.. he doesn't have half the moves I do if you pumped half a bottle of Jack into me.

You'll likely be the next to see that what you see here is only half of my personality. Hopefully you won't be disappointed.. though no one who has met me in real life has IIRC... but what you see on the internet is just my happy side.  My shrink (the Spawn of Satan made me see one once)  told me once he could write a book on me.  LOL

Long timers here Terri know my particular history here... I joined here when my life and marriage were falling competely apart but no one likes to hear about how sad and depressed we are.. so this site and genre team work became a bit of refuge so I focused my positive fun energy into my posts which continues I suppose to this day. I

n real life... hmmm.. let's just say that life has taken a giant bite out of my ass.  Destroyed what little self esteem and self worth I had.  Online I am what I feel myself to be. Someone who has done things that many will never do or could ever do. However in real life I am what I think others see me as. An ugly beat up middle aged man. So I keep to myself and let Raff do the socializing while I drink and observe what goes on around me.  There is a reason why all these band we have met know and adore Raff.. yet call me... Mr. Raff.  With only a a select few do I let my guard down. Hell Raff doesn't even know, she hasn't asked, I haven't told, all I have dealt with in my past. It is enough she knew she was inheriting a very wounded and broken soul. She really is a saint.  She has brought a great deal of happiness to my life but unfornately even she can not erase an adult life of sorrow and misery.

I hear we may get to meet at Progday.  I really do look forward to that Terri!  You'll love it there. I slice of heaven on earth. It really is beautiful there where they have it and is a great crowd.. almost like a family reunion of sorts every year. As I call it .. Woodstock without the brown acid, dirty hippies, or lousy music LOL

diet coke... but I'm not sure why... perhaps I'm just too lazy to get more beer from the 7-11 I suppose.  Tomorrow I do raid the Harris Teeter for more of that Abita Louisiana spiced Ale.

Ah Mike as much as you miss your other half you must be getting just a little bit used to being an aimless single guy; I mean pepperoni cheesesteak?   Awesome.   Next thing you know you'll be watching a gladiator flick.

LOL or Turkish prison flicks...

some McCoffee here...  of course Raff left me instructions on how to make 'approved' Coffee.

Did I listen? of course not so I dumped half a container of grounds into the machine for about 4 cups.

You could walk across the surface of my coffee cup.. just the way I like it.

We all have pasts, some are just harder to live with than others.  Sorry yours had to be one of them.

We're looking forward to Progday for the music and company both, we're pretty sure we can make it (I say pretty sure because every time I say something is certain life decides to rear up and get me back for it).

Any other PA'ers planning to go?
