I'm into so many bands these days that I missed listening to Floyd. I used to listen to them every single day, until I found this website

Let me guess, Moonchild? I barely knew any Prog when I discovered that album, so don't mind my opinion The cover is so iconic that I had to listen to it when I saw it on Youtube (what's wrong with streaming, Mr. Fripp?). What do you think of Poseidon? I didn't like it much.
I have a hard time being awake during Trespass though

Unfortunately, I'm more convinvined than ever (for me personally) that I'm spot on about `Saucerful', if anything I enjoyed it even less than I normally do. Too inconsistent, and I got throughly bored with it on this particular listen. On to `Ummagumma' shortly, though.

In some ways the `Poseiden' album has some superior moments to `Court', but it is a very lazy remake of the first album. `Pictures of A City' is a terrific opener (although not much different to `21st Century Schizoid Man' from the debut), and despite the nonsense lyrics `Cat Food' has some cool spots, but a lot of everything else is simply a carbon copy of the first album. The title track is virtually a remake of `Epitaph', `Cadence and Cascade' replaces `I Talk to the Wind', and while the booming Mellotron of `The Devil's Triangle' is certainly impressive, there's no actual tune. Just a mood piece that doesn't really go anywhere...Still a decent album, but at least `Lizard', which I don't even like very much, was a complete reinvention.

`Trespass' I still jump back and forth with, one listen I think it's almost the equal of their other albums from the same period, the next I think it's quite engaging....this time was the latter!

OK, you're going to want to hear that third album, Sam, the sax is out of this world, and the album has this really murky, plodding grooving heaviness. One of the sexiest RPI albums I know for sure!
