Thumbs Up the offer is a standing one to anyone who visits DC to join Raff and I for a nice evening of drinks and dinner (on us unsually) but for you.... we go all the way and paint the town red and hit every dive and juke joint I know of around here.. and I know a plenty. Thumbs Up

I will be taking you up on that offer sometime in the next 12-18 months.  Maybe we can organize a larger group.

definitely.Thumbs Up

Raff and I had talked about hopefully meeting you soon.  We sort of hoped you might have surprised us with unannounced visit to Progday last year perhaps hitching a ride with Ut Gret LOL

Someday my friend; can you imagine the three of us out on the town?   I see much laughter and a possible arrest.

Heart oh you can put your paycheck on the odds of those happening...

someday David.

Tea drunk standing up in the only room downstairs where such a thing is possible, from a kettle boiled on the floor (next to the only working socket).

Yes, we returned from our vacation to find the kitchen ripped out and no new one installed, which we kind of expected in spite of our contractor's earnest promises....Luckily the fridge is still plugged in (in our sunroom) and I had baked some brack while on holiday, of which we still had some leftover, because that's all the dinner we're getting tonight.

This year has been chaos but maybe next year a meeting would be in order.  Let's hope the stars and planets align and make this possible.

The rest of that slice of flourless chocolate cake.  I think if I'd eaten all of it I'd be in the emergency room right about now.

This would be a good week for one of you to invite me over for dinner. Stir fry, flourless chocolate cake, seafood fra diavolo.....sounds very tempting for someone that has no kitchen.
