^ are we in the 'what are you eating/drinking thread'? God that looks good...
I said it once ..I'll say it again. I can't say for good or bad for your tastes in music..though I have my suspicions yours meet my exacting standards....
but the album covers of what you are listening to slay ALL..
so what I am listening to.. something that Raff was listening to as I got home.. let me ask.
something Raff is listening to for a review that I haven't heard before... good album. Something Paul Sears is playing on.

Mmmmm indeed.
Strawberry Jam by Animal Collective, a band whose entire discography you should try. They've been playing around with various experimental takes on neo-psych and whatever the hell else for sixteen years now.
Strawberry Jam, for one, takes some of their wild styles - neo-psych, jungle chants, '60's style keys, heavily effected guitar, and the odd primal scream - and crams it into an indie pop context.
Though I suspect you might be a little better off jumping into Hollinndagain or Here Comes The Indian first, with their own wonky goodness.

the name is familiar... I might have checked up on them in the past but there is a reason why we say this is the golden age of progressive music. Too much music.. too little time. I never followed up.. I might put that on a youtube listening list for tonight.
Thanks man!

for me.. so far an ok listen. But not worried... their previous album didn't catch me from the first listen and was a grower.. perhaps this one does as well
