Check the OHMS (impedance level) of both your speakers and amp. Probably a mis-match. :(

Pink Floyd-- saucerful of secrets ( the mix on this album is a thing of beauty. )

Pink Floyd-- the endless river (in stunning 5.1 DTS master audio 24/96)
Neutral and lifeless Tongue If I can't feel the drums and the bass, what's the point? LOL The vocals and guitars sound nice though. I usually listen through my Sennheiser cans. I didn't know the impedance level differences matter Ermm

It sure is. It's a really good sounding CD Smile

Some of their better albums should have that sound quality, besides the classic ones. I want the cow in 5.1 DTS Big smile

I see my good hearted friend. Ok. Check your receiver settings. I am assuming you have a sub woofer of course. there is an option on your receiver (if it's not more than 12 yrs old) where by you can allow your speakers to detect lower frequency emissions by selecting the 3X-crossover option and setting it to the lowest frequency setting. Most receivers go as low as 80khz; however some can go as low as 40khz, which is a monsterous LFE detection. Anyway, just check that setting out and that should improve the bass experience when listening to your music with your home theater. Let me know if that works, buddy. Happy bassing. ;)

Today and yesterday.

Lunatic soul-- WOAFB
Ayreon-- The electric castle
Threshold-- critical mass (oh boy. This album is lavishly produced. Very well done. Has a very 'clean' sound. )
Zombie-- shapeshift
Dream theater-- Awake
Pyramaze-- the melancholy beast.
Mutiny in Jonestown-- The Witching hour. ( loving the Psyche/space rock drive of this one. )
Devin Townsend-- Ocean Machine: biomech. ( a pretty decent debut album. The last 3 tracks are just amazing, but I must warn everyone here that the album audio quality is horrendous. One of thee worst I've ever heard. )
Anathema-- weather systems ( love the 'near death experience narration by Gracie. ;)
Godsmack-- live and inspired
Gimmie my headphones now!!! 🎧🤣

I'll look into it, thanks for the advice. Does that also work with headphones or only speakers?

This weekend:
La Coscienza di Zeno - Sensitività
Michael Brückner - Naura (Michael, I read your review again, and you say something about a 15 minute hidden track, but on mine is 21 minutes long and is completely different from the album's music... kind of boring too Confused)

The low end frequency sensitivity applies only to your front, right and left speaker channels of your home theater, not the headphone in jack of your receiver. Headphones are more sensitive so adjusting the bass levels from your receiver should do just fine....if you are happy with more rumble. ;)

This morning and tonight.

Zombie-- shape shift.
Depeche mode-- sounds of the universe (5.1 DTS)
Genesis-- Wind and Wuthering (5.1 Dolby surround 24/96)
Arena-- the cry
Arena-- Contagion Max.
Shamall-- ambiguous points of view (disc1 only)
Airbag-- all rights removed ( had to give this some repeat love. Beautiful heart felt Floydian like stuff. )
The cure-- Bloodflowers ( sheesh Smith really hits the depressing button hard on this one. Even 39 is old to him! Lol)
Gimmie my headphones now!!! 🎧🤣

OK. I didn't find that option on my receiver though. I tried that but even on the maximum value it doesn't change much.

Cool! Is it available on DVD/BD?

Yesterday:
Metronic Underground - Illusion
Boris Petrov - Memory
Mutiny in Jonestown - The Witching Hour
Handwrist - Sullen Days
Eric Clapton - Unplugged (If all albums could have this quality of production Clap)
Tim Blake - New Jerusalem (What a unique album this is and both sides are so different. A lighthearted electronic record but certainly not bland. "Generator" reminds me of Kraftwerk Tongue)
Push Kings - s/t

Sam, I had to dig out my CD, turns out that is a very diferent track from the fifteen minute `mix' piece that came with the download version. The one you're referring to is a very cold electronic drone. I certainly wouldn't call it boring (although some people cannot find much merit in the more drone-based electronic music), but it's definitely not considered part of the proper album. Just do what I do with most bonus/extra tracks - ignore them altogether, or listen once, appreciate and then banish!

I can honestly say I love this band but this is due to mainly because of one album, the self titled one.
I also have the debut and Four letter Monday Afternoon and while I think they're decent they've never came close to the excellent S/T album.
Never heard the one you mentioned here, any good?
