I agree with you completely. I'm not so confident about them right now.

Pathetic win by the Seahawks.......deserve to lose especially with Lynch a no show, not even supporting his team by traveling to Minn. Sorry, professional athlete getting paid millions $$ should be with his team.
Oh well, at least I won't have to hear all the whining krapp at work tomorrow.

Exactly, though how often does a top kicker miss a 27 yarder? Seattle isn't the threat they have been, and ironic that after Graham goes down is when Wilson explodes and turns the team into a passing oriented one! I just don't know though, I can see Seattle getting by Carolina because frankly I still don't believe in them...pathetic schedule and enough questionable games against the lowly Saints and Giants (showing a hidden poor defense)

But hey, ugly as it was...how about dem Steelers? Yikes. Now that was an ugly game! With the steelers coach and player getting tangled up, the Shazier hit (sorry, runner or not how was that not a spearing? Or what about the helmet to helmet hits the NFL tried so hard to snuff out??) and that finale...wow.
First, if you let that one hit go, how can you flag the Burfict one? Then the ensuing mess after that? Just wow, and I hate to call em the Bungles, but they really did bungle that one.

Then the other games...proving the AFC South and NFC East have no business being in the playoffsLOL

One thing which was not pathetic.......the Hawks D held the leading rusher in the NFL to 45 yards on 23 carries. The Hawks are playing solid defense. The offense stuttered in the cold, not surprising since their run game is down now. Dogging Marshawn for not going, you must have the inside scoop on that. Tough on a Saints fan in Seattle. Deserve to lose, right because Minnesota played such good football.

The Minn loss is 100% on Adrian Peterson....the D played great, B'water held serve by not franking up, receivers came thru in the clutch....only Peterson - the guy who basically carried them to the NFC North title - didn't show.  He even sat during the second-to-last drive....imagine that, your best player by far sitting during the most crucial drive of the season.  His not being able to muster 10 yards on the final drive led to them settling for the field goal.  His runs lacked creativity and he was often thrown for losses when he tried to create....or else he fumbled when he tried for an extra yard or two.  Yeah, the final kick sucked (and that kid should immediately be cut - those misses haunt kickers for the rest of their career....and his percentage on game winners had been so bad that I don't think he lands anywhere but in Canada or bartending at your local), but look no further than AP if you want the scoop on why the Vikes came up short.
I like to feel the suspense when you're certain you know I am there.....

Yeah, I do feel for the people of St Louis but at least the Rams were an LA team (I know Cleveland but we all kinda associate the Rams with LA mainly) I sincerely hope the Chargers don't get moved. They've been there for nearly 60 years, that'd really  be a pity. Especially since Oakland also has an LA history and no need for 2 teams in the bay area.

On a somber note, Lawrence Phillips was found dead today in a suspected suicide. Before my time but was always an intriguing and sad story. One of the greatest college backs, so much potential but wasted because he basically could never escape his past...landed him in jail and facing the death penalty, and apparently took the matter into his own hands.

Good point about AP, really have to put the loss on him especially since Blair Walsh did score all the teams points that game.
Ouch, that seems harsh! I don't watch the vikings so I can't vouch for his clutchness, but he has a very good FG% and has been one of the better kickers in the game.

Edit: Ben McAdoo has been promoted to head coach of the Giants. I am not surprised in the least. The day he was hired 2 years ago I said he would be the replacement for Coughlin when the time inevitably came, especially after the great job he's done with the offense. Glad I am right too, because I think he's a good person for the job.

Granted, the defense needs to be drastically fixed far more than any offensive issues.

Bob Quinn has decided to retain Lions HC Jim Caldwell, so I'm a happy guy today!  If all of the players in the locker room are rallying around him, then that shows what kind of a guy he is.  As long as JBC and Austin are back as the coordinators, then next year could be a good year!

Other than the Titans this is probably the best place for me to succeed. I'm not sold on it though...I feel there will be too many personnel disagreements which will lead to an awkward situation and those tensions don't seem to be too stable for that long...

And playoff predictions:

Patriots over Chiefs (24-16)
Cardinals over Packers (38-24)
Seahawks over Panthers (18-14)
Broncos over Steelers (21-13)

I have no idea how to call the last one...but with Big Ben hampered and Brown out, I have to imagine the broncos can get it done.

And that's when we'd go after Alshon Jefferey with all of that freed up cap room.
