^ What a day, indeed Clap

Today:
Amministrazione Caos Popolare - Sendai Nebula (Nice album, it reminds me of Sezione Frenante but with more atmosphere. The punk-ish second track was really unexpected Tongue)
La Fabbrica dell' Assoluto - 1984 L'ultimo Uomo d'Europa (This is top 20 material. On my wishlist already! Big smile)

I'm trying to like them. Tongue Seriously though, I'm slowly but surely coming around to Floyd's experimental early face (pre Dark Side, or pre Dark Ages as I've started calling it LOL).

Loved the new Magma, and the new Zombi's very good as well, I thought. Both are bands I wish I was more aqcuainted with, but that won't stop me from enjoying and applauding their latest releases. Clap Both are in my top 20 as I'm writing this. Thumbs Up

La Coscienza di Zeno - La notte anche di giorno
I've been enjoying the pre Dark Ages more than the classic ones lately. I wasn't into it not long ago, but I listen to much weirder Psych stuff nowadays Wink

That's great! Sometimes a brand new album is a good reason to discover artists Smile I'll give Sl*g Tanz another listen to know where I'll place it, there's a lot of great albums that won't be on my top 20 Ermm

What did you think of it?
Same for me, 2015 has truly been an excellent year for progressive music, at least to my tastes.

"La notte anche di giorno" is one of many good ones that won't make my top 20. Actually, it probably won't even make my top 30 (I'm sorry to say, Sam, I know it's one of your favourites of the year). I enjoyed it more on first listen than I did "Sensitività" though, and I ended up really appreciating that one, so I won't discount "La notte" moving up a few places on my list when I've given it a few more spins.

Anyway, last couple of weeks, there or thereabouts, has been really busy, but I got a lot of listening done as well:

Aratta Rebirth - Red Hail

I think I could make a top 50 if I wanted Tongue

Like I said to David, no need to be sorry. A lot of albums I enjoy wouldn't make my top 30 either. I still never listened to the new Motorpsycho album and I know you rate it highly Ermm

Since it was discussed last week, what's your opinion on Kraftwerk?
I just noticed the new Elephant9 is finally streamable Big smile
What do you think of that Fire! album? My first spin didn't go very well Confused
I gave Starfire another listen, what a great album Clap
Maat Lander is on my list, I hope you liked it

Last night:
Supertramp - Breakfast In America

Today so far:
Beatles - Abbey Road
Elephant9 with Reine Fiske - Silver Mountain

Wednesday...

Shadowfax - Watercourse Way
Jam It! - Following The Unknown
Kaipa - Kaipa
Hail The Sun - Elephantitis
Delirium - L'Era Della Menzogna
The Heavy Minds - Treasure Coast
Mars Red Sky - Mars Red Sky
Mars Red Sky - Stranded In Arcadia

I have to jump in and agree that this has been a great musical year.
I've purchased a little over fifty CDs/vinyl released in 2015 from bands I already knew, bands I recently found out about and especially bands that released their debut in 2015.
In regard to the last category of new bands this year, there were several I liked that are only available on download so they were not added to my list.
