I'm getting caned for constantly obsessing over Meshuggah so I've plonked on Floyd's Animals. Always a winner.....

PHANTASMAGORY - Odd Sounds

I used to think this album's title was yet another example of Mogwai's penchant for goofy inside jokes but the music found within does contain more use of electronics than usual for the group's signature style. The cover art is also very apt, many of the tracks feel like they could be used in the soundtrack for a retro science-fiction film.
