The Clown is on Sabbatical. He shall return when the time is right.. and he just can't control himself any longer, as usual!...

Well, not exactly...
VC got upset because I moved the Mariah Carey thread. However, the way he chose to deal with this was to go into every single thread in Main Discussions and post a blatantly profane post - knowing full well that "no profanity" is one of only two (okay, three now...) rules of the site. I told him that if he did not go back and delete them all, he would lose his membership. Ultimately, I ended up finding all (?) of them and deleting them myself.
However, VC was not "kicked out," least of all by me: I actually don't have that authority; only Max can do that. VC chose to leave of his own accord. His membership is still active, and he can return at any time. As threefates notes, he probably will when he has "licked his wounds" and feels "emboldened" enough to return. And I will be the first to welcome him back.

I was away for a dirty weekend  and missed the whole debacle but I have managed to piece together what happened and principally I'm on the Clown's side in this. Avoiding personal attacks should be obvious,but we're all adults here and should not freak out at the odd swearword or a picture of a lady's bits. Flying off the handle like he did could be seen as a tactical error ,but that's the way he is and I don't think any of us would have him any other way,so I hope we get the pleasure of his unique sense of humor once again,because without it I have to admit this place might just start to lose part of it's attraction, at least for me.

Pixel...As you posted, I cant agree more, and besides that The Clown is probably one of the persons that knows nearly everything about Prog Music...So if the "smell of the kitchen" got too foul for Mr Clown, then its the same for me...
