Some criminally underrated drummers, in my opinion.

I'm going to get hate for this, but it is Mason for me. One of my top three.

I'm going to give a pity vote to Guy Evans.

Not hated by me, but I do am very curious why exactly mason.
He didn't do much on composing, didn't drum very notably fast/virtuous and not too special to me.
Wait, that's not a valid argument: drumming fast with PF. That's nearly impossible

I don't know Ficca, but the rest in this list are (mostly) terrific. My vote goes to.....................Guy Evans. Even when he's pounding out a straight 4/4, he sounds like Guy. When watching the post-2000 VDGG live DVD's, it's Guy carrying the whole thing - I mean, everything around him can turn haywire and chaotic, and he won't miss a beat, a tempo change, a strange time sig or whatever. Very impressive Drummer (could say the same about Jaki).

Ficca is the drummer of Television, I know it seems out of place because Television is more new wave/punk, but they were a little progressive, mainly because of Ficca's strong jazz influences in his drumming.

Not from me. Thought NM is great.  For Set the Controls and Time alone. Very creative player. Of course that does not mean the others are not or are less so. Hell, B J Wilson was considered for Led Zeppelin, a band noted for its drumming requirements.

Andy Ward. It took me just "Slow Yourself Down" to understand it.
I stand with Roger Waters, I stand with Joan Baez, I stand with Victor Jara, I stand with Woody Guthrie. Music is revolution

Jaki today although it just as easily could've been Pierre.
