and here is the great Barbara Dennerlein (yes, of course I have to mention her) at age 23 doing an absolutely smoking version of Dizzy Gillespie's "A Night in Tunisia" with her band, followed by "A Tribute to Charlie (Parker)", in which she does a terrific bass solo at the beginningVIDEO
