Shiver me timbers!!! Is that a Sabicas vinyl I spot thereShocked Oh you lucky b*****d!!!!PinchDeadAngryEmbarrassedLOLTongue Colour me jealous.
I have it on cd and it is quite simply a marvellous little album. I loooove how they're able to combine flamenco with psych rock without coming off sounding kitsch. The guitar work on this baby is phenomenal.
But yes....I'd rather have the LP. Oh yes.

Ya-huh! The cover looks in terrific condition, but the vinyl isn't immaculate, sad to say! A few pops and patchy spots on the surface here and there, but I've got a `copy of illegitimate origin' burned to a CD for the car as a backup!

When I bought it, the vendor looked at me and said `Man, that is a cracking album, almost no-one knows of it, I'm so glad it's going to a good home!' I weas just glad he knew what it was in the first place to get in for his store!

I just love when record vendors act like they're working for the RSCPALOL
Funny as hell but then again, there's also something beautiful in folks with such a deep devotion to music. It is contagious.

^  I'm listening to Sabicas right now and I found a "used like new" copy on vinyl on Amazon for $14.94 including shipping. It's coming from California so it shouldn't get banged up in the mail.
BTW, to answer your earlier post, I did order Music For Pogonologists on vinyl.

I just got home from a psychedelic concert in the city, I only bought a t-shirt from the band since the LP was sold out. I went to a local store before it and bought this:
David Gilmour - On An Island (new vinyl reissue)
Led Zeppelin - The Song Remains The Same (DVD)
Tickets to Riverside+The Sixxis+Lion Shepherd, next week.

Cool! I was actually spinning Music For Pogonologists earlier today. Great album even if it quite a chunk of music in one sitting.

New arrivals at my place:

Zombi - Shape Shift
Steve Hauschildt - Where All Is Fled (beautiful liquidy ambient with a touch of the old Berliner Schule)
Magic Bus - Transmissions From Sogmore's Garden (Caravan resurrected! Well Dave Sinclair at least)
Troyka - Ornithophobia

The jar cover is still worth between $67 and $167 depending on condition.
You paid a lot less than many people on eBay did.

You have the reissue from an American label, right? Is it different from mine? (click on "More images").
