Been there Michael only I fear she wasn't as engaging in the bedroom department....
Damn now I'm jealous!! Only a wee bit though, she does sound insane.
I think your friend was right though - good and healthy to find out at an early stage.
Lots of love from Denmark buddy

All good, mate, I've got decent memories of the good times with her, but I really don't know how much of that was put on. See, there's that creeping mental torment creeping back in! Discarding right now!

Anyway, thanks as always for the bro-mance, my friend!

All good, fellas, was a nice pick me up while it lasted. I sure didn't expect it to disentegrate pretty much overnight in such an unexpected and scary manner, but meh, onwards and upwards, or to bring it back to prog, `onwards....through the night'!

Michael, but the most important question....what did she think of RPI?  LOL   If you can find a woman who will put up with your enjoyment of crazy, dissonant prog, you must overlook the other psychosis....Hug

She spun Porcupine Tree's `In Absentia' and came back with `They sound kind of cool, but that guy can't sing, he doesn't seem like much of a talent...'

Hmmmm, perhaps that should have been the first hint of madness?!

LOL

And of course I don't mean to simply make light of it, Michael.  Very sorry that happened to you bud.  It sounds like a traumatic time.

Sports, politics, religion, tattoos, piercings, Sid Meier's Civilization, Pauly Shore, and the bloody V8 "juice".

To be continued.

No, it's all good, my friend! I've never experienced anything like that before, someone having such an abrupt change in personality, but several people who know about this offered plenty of advice, personal experiences and opinions, and it really helped.

I was disappointed at the time, because whoever I was with all that time was very witty, intelligent and creative, but that phone call, and `whoever' it was on the other end was like a completely different person. Didn't resemble who I'd been seeing in the slightest. I don't know if that side I saw was real at all, or just put on, and if it was put on, what purpose did it serve going along with it all that time, and is she even aware that she'd had this complete change in personality at all?! Argh, see what I mean, that's the sort of thing that was going round and round in my head in the weeks after this!

So after the initial confusion, I kind of have the feeling I dodged a bullet.

Hopefully she can and will get some help to work through those issues.  Very glad you're feeling better my friend!
