Topic: RIP Giancarlo Golzi (Museo Rosenbach) Posted: August 13 2015 at 05:38
Sad news for RPI fans. Giancarlo Golzi, drummer of Museo Rosenbach, passed away yesterday because of a heart attack. He was only 63. After Museo Rosenbach split up in 1973, he joined Matia Bazar, and found mainstream success with them. He was also part of the Museo Rosenbach reunion of a few years ago, and played on their comeback album, Barbarica, released in 2013.

Very sad news. `Zarathustra' is still one of my personal favourite RPI discs. It's a nice legacy for him that he got to play on a true classic of 70's Italian prog, as well as a very decent comeback again from the group a few years ago.

RIP
Definitely left his mark.
Dig me...But don't...Bury me I'm running still, I shall until, one day, I hope that I'll arrive Warning: Listening to jazz excessively can cause a laxative effect.
He is the rock solid foundation of the Museo Rosenbach sound.
So sadly missed. I hope there´s professional filmed live material from the latest line-up with the great Stefano "Lupo" Califi, maybe from Japanese concerts. Because their Live in Tokyo Japan 2014 CD is really a great performance.
