tried one of these today - 
Sarsaparilla is slightly different from rootbeer; somewhat less sweet and more of a wintergreen/fennel flavor than the birch/vanilla taste one xepects in a root or birch beer. I prefer rootbeer but Sas has a cleaner finish.

hahahah.. I think she has one more move in her. Next move will be the final one. I'll be able to retire in 5 years... and can pick up and leave this place.
it will be her decision..
to my home. or back to her home. Either one will good for me.. I think she'll want to go back to Rome and if I can't go back to Portland... I'll settle for Rome.

yeah.. about time life threw me roses rather than sh*t... I paid my dues man and then some... I think that accident I had two years ago put the fear of my job in Raff. Always knew it was dangerous.. and I keep the more dangerous aspects away from her.. 'how was the day sweetie?... oh just another day...boring darling ' but nothing nails it home like getting a call from my office that I am on the way to hospital after being blown up I think the minute I am able to leave this job.. she'll be pushing me on a plane...

you might just single-handedly rekindle my youthful passion for that stuff David.. for me.. Raff's special homemade Iced Tea... on-call rears its ugly head again.. but worth it.. I had to get moved forward to not have it, as originally sceduled, on Labor Day weekend.

and poor Raff hates it.. for I turn into a really unpleasant partner... you have of have to be on edge.. never know when that phone will ring any time of day or night and often sending you to... interesting ..situations where you best have your head on straight. so naturally I am pretty tense and uptight and not the most pleasant of company around the house.
