I freaking agree! I have no idea why they aren't playing every single jam band fest in the United States all summer and blowing every other band there out of the water... because they would OWN it.
That I'd believe!

Btw,

Lovely Little Girls- The evil stepchild of Magma, Cheer-Accident and Sleepytime Gorilla Museum. Alex Perkerloup is absolutely amazing. I fight for this band to be heard. These guys make music that is insanely catchy but surprisingly more dangerous and weirder than even a lot of avant-stylized bands. BUT, there's something very modern about their sound that I think SHOULD appeal to the youth of today. Kids needs to realize that Lady Gaga and St Vincent aren't actually weird at all...

hecked out these guys. Great stuff! Got some Cardiacs vibes from them as well. Ordered their album "Cleaning the Filth...", as well as the Encenathrakh album you mentioned in the Tech Metal thread the other day. Thanks for the recs, man! Thumbs Up

Yea no problem! Happy to always share... and holy cow you bought that encenathrakh album??? Oh god... so ridiculous... but amazing anyway haha

high praise Alan..Clap

give me one song.. one chance to convert me.. a proud ADD listener with a quick hook to the musical bullpen....which song do you pick?
My favourite is the last track "Carousel" however "Fridge Full of Star" may be more immediate. It took me a while to get into this album before it hooked me completely, so you need to give it a few listens Micky.

patience I have in spades.. if it is interesting LOLThumbs Up  Thanks Alan, I'll check it out this evening.

yeah... for some reason I don't dig the vocal harmonies...

not bad actually Alan!  I do like a more chaos and action, less emphasis on singing and lyrics and more on MUSIC... which Raff knows all too well.

Still.. kept my attention for 11+ minutes.  Pretty good. Thumbs Up

Fridge Full of Stars 1'40 solo ac guitar brought by a sumptuous beginning: this solo's a pure treat (even more than later same chord sequence with the power guitar line) !

...Small venues can feel great, but wouldn't much more people be happy to celebrate...

PS: don't google Alex Perkerloup anymore. It's possible cantaloupe eater Alex Perkolup (from that band)

Embarrassed I'm flattered.. but it takes more than that.  I had to pass on Stella Vander when she was begging me with her eyes to wisk her away when we met. Now that was flattery...

I am taken you know.  Raff has shown me the knife she said she'd cut my heart out with. Don't f**k with Italian women LOL
