Henry Plainview always cracked me up.

And how about the guy (name escapes me) who insisted only music pre-88 was worthy.

All deserve a mention, for different reasons than I think the OP intended.

Walter, a shame he didn't get banned sooner to be honest.

1800iareyay is another member I miss, some great reviews from him.

And, it was 1989 when the music died.

I miss Pablo (The Quiet One), Jeff (J-Man) and Henk (Progrules) back from the early days of The Flower King's appreciation thread.  While I don't listen to The Flower Kings very often these days, there was a good camaraderie when the thread started up.  I think Jeff is still around but I rarely see him and at least hooked up with him on fb.

Yeah - still lurking occasionally; Peter, though (Mr multicoloured grammar nazi himself) not for a long time - I do miss him. Not from here, but personally - Vicky and I haven't been over to Canada/Newfoundland for a while... must remedy that.

Nobody misses Velvetclown??

A lot many PA characters have already been mentioned.  I wonder where's DT guitarfan these days.  Also Petrovsk (Hughes), a very good contributor on the metal side.

yeah.. that reminds me.  Of all the things to miss the most in PA's.  Ivan.. oh yeah. he is still here in spirit but in a kind of symphonic semi-Yoda state.  One can not think of him without thinking of seas of blue font.. verbally going to toe with anyone foolish or stubborn enough to think they can out debate him.

 I miss those days.

Him, no !! (how about another Swedish troll: Flower Child?)

But that general era (with maani as Admin) was sooooo dangerous, yet wildly exciting....  and downright fun

I also miss Peter's colourful posts, btw.

I think he left in a huff when he couldn't convince everyone that DT were the greatest band of all and that vanilla Prog Metal the best genre here. A lot of his posts before he left did come across as rather bitter that not everyone shared his enthusiasm for that style.

The  time when Man with Hat, Stonebeard and Cygnus-X2 formed an unholy triumvirate and created a posted tsunami takes some beating. Can't recall any of the content but it was fun at the time

Cert1fied was a knowledgable poster here in days gone by.

Speaking of Cert1fied, I miss his 'bete noire' Mike.  They had many long debates, mostly over prog metal, which were interesting to read.
