Was wondering what I should do for fun after these polls. Thanks for the suggestion.

Some people "have fun" pouring gasoline on vagrants and then setting them ablaze; your definition of "fun" is not universal.
But yes, I will ignore the poll.
I am unable to have fun, it has plagued me my entire life. It was suggested maybe a nice music competition would do the trick but alas it was not to be.

nice predictions btw. Giving Ommadawn some serious love I see.
Thanks. Not necessarily my favorite that one, but I think it'll go far. We'll see how it goes.
yeah... we could have gone a step further than we did and gone with 2nd or 3rd best from some of the 2nd tier bands to level the field even more but as I noted above. Really.. it isn't like I could remove ALL the hugely popular albums Doing the big heavies as I call them did enough to keep the emphasis on the two main points I wanted to stress..a) have fun damnit and b) giving great but lesser acclaimed albums some light and perhaps expose to those that haven't heard them.
As I noted in the collab zone, I really had zero interest to spend the months these contests will take, of my time, just to end up with yet another CTTE v. Foxtrot v. Red v. TAAB series of polls at the end. Yawn.

^ It's all in the name of fun. I don't understand the problem.
Loving the first round so far, Micky. So many albums to check out though. Summer madness indeed. Many new discoveries to be made though. I've already found myself a few new favourites, and I'm just halfway through the classic albums I'm not well acquainted with. Great work you've done.

Really crappy album selection. Seriously. Some bands have their best album in the poll while others have perhaps their 10th best. Sorry Mick, this one is f*ckingly skewed. I voted on a few, got the general gist and will ignore it henceforth. Too bad, it could have been a lot fairer.
Sorry Micky, I have to agree to this. You put Drama and Tales Of Mystery and Imagination in the contest and call it "PA Battle of the albums"? What will it prove? Sorry.
other than proving prog fans have major sticks up their asses.. not a damn thing.
it is supposed to be fun.. you know... F.. U .. N !!!

fair? Nah.. who cares about that. Tull fan doesn't need this to know TAAB will get to the last rounds, nor Yes fan with CTTE, nor KC fan with Red, nor Genesis fan with any Gabriel release.
we have a 1000 polls for those. I didn't care about fair, this never was 'top' PA's album. We have nice chart on the front page for that brother. I was looking not for fair.. but fun. Of course it is skewed..
that was the point.. as well as highlighting albums other than the ... same old sh*t man.
