Hello!

I recently started a blog about... a lot of thing. Prog is a big part of it.

One of my goals for the blog is to create a more objective way to describe and categorize music. However, I cannot do this alone, which is why I am asking you all for help. I am hoping you all might debate and discuss with me "composition as a form of design." This might require some knowledge about theory and psychology, but if we all contribute a little bit, we can get there.

Right now, I am attempting to create this language by reviewing every moment of every song by Gazpacho. I am going through tracks trying to discuss why songs/phrases/albums are well (or poorly) designed.

This is an incredibly daunting task for one person though. So, I am hoping you all will assist in creating a less subjective/more informative music review.

For more info, I recommend checking out the my introductory post, and the "Blog Goal: Music" post.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

A couple notes...

1. If you don't like Gazpacho, I also plan to review Agalloch in the future
2. I am also interviewing Greg Massi of Kayo Dot/maudlin of the Well/Baliset. Just another reason to check out the blog Smile

Cheers

Seeing as this isn't a blog but an advertisement of one, I've moved it to 'get the word out'.
