TPAB doesn't really click with me, save a few tracks. It's a pretty decent album, overall; the lyrics I've skimmed are pretty great, but I find the music on it to be kind of elusive. I feel like I'm trying to cup water in my hands but it keeps pouring out before I can drink it; I don't really get it.
another listen and Vulnicura still sounds mediocre
I finally listened to it and i disagree. It didn't blow me away all together, but there were some strong parts for sure. A little inconsistent i suppose.

But songs like Black Swan and Family are great.
I do think it is inconsistent. I also think I should like Black Swan but I just don't, and this goes for most of the songs. It seems all the ingredients are there yet there is nothing to really interest me.
