Really? I was born in the dark ages, true, but for courting I've always relied on Renaissance and medieval music ;-) actually, my very first girlfriend had Marillion blasting Margareth down the street just for me....

Ummm....Angelo...most of us are from the Dark Ages, and the women we are with also write with runes.

I went with "Trick" because it's the most romantic on the list.  But for my write-in I'd go with ELP's "Trilogy."  It used to do the "trick" with the fair maidens I courted back in the 70s.  Just sayin'...

Last time I checked I was a "chick" and the song choices (related to these bands) here for me are so wrong. Wink

Out of the above list I would go with either Genesis or Yes.  However, for that special someone you can’t go wrong with Coltrane for Lovers by John Coltrane. Heart

I am latin and as far as I am aware I do not have Germanic blood. It's a good thing that if you both are from Germanic blood and write in runes, however I do not know what that means Confused I am a nincompoop btw (just saying) Hug

Oh sure they did. We learned it all in school, and I read a lot of books about it when I was still young (well younger than I am now). I even tried to learn runes ones, but there wasn't enough geek in me to continue.

But, if you're into that, better not play prog on your date, but instead organise a Polterabend with your friends.

If it's a date with my missus, then it would have to be Within Temptation, Delain, Autumn, After Forever or Stream of Passion... in fact, just about anything that's Dutch... Confused

I'm fine thank you Angelo... good to see you around. Incredible that after all this time, you remember me working for the YHA... I left them 2 1/2 years ago after 15 years service and now work as a development manager in a 54 apartment block for elderly people, which suits me fine.. Cool

I hope you, your business and family are all thriving... Star

Hi Jared, my memory has always been too good. I even remember you moving up north to another YH. Tried to plan a visit while I was in Cambridge but it didn't work out. Good to hear you're doing good. Thinks are working here as well, just the usual ups and downs but we're all alive and kicking.

Chicks and prog Ermm

this title no matter how hard I try to sugar coated it, it's let's say it does not conclude into a very intellectual approach.

Stern Smile Hey all to their own, no harm done here nor offense taken thus I too hope those who stated that they too will take no offense (I doubt they would even comprehend)  if I am most intrigued by their dull-witted perceptions. Big smile

Now, I would like to see how girls and women can be turned on by the PA forumites... I'm not sure that a couple of songs would the trick... Luckily, most of you must have a free hand close to the edge of your tail... Or will you end in a silent corner of your rooms...?
