Hi,

Anyone have a set list for Seattle and Portland, and beyond?

I think this was it in Portland:

Kohntarkosz
MDK
(Break -- Bass Drum pedals broke)
Sl*g Tanz

(Encore)
Zombies

Anyone else?

Hey guys, I got 1001 centigrades! Been enjoying it. One thing about this album that surprised me was that the piano and horns in it, especially in the 3rd track, reminds me of something off of Henry Mancini's Cop Show Themes and/or Symphonic Soul albums. Which I think is great! (Both Mancini and Magma!) There's much to absorb from this album yet, but the weird scary deep voiced parts stick in my mind.

Calm Sea, you mentioned about feeling like we can oversaturate ourselves with music and get confused. I've been thinking something similar to that lately. How there's just so much music out there that it is overwhelming to me. That is why I've decided to take Magma slow and let it sink in more before I move onto the next album.

Would anyone please tell me the names of the band members from left to right in the drawing on the inside cover of the Kobaia album? See the full album design at this page. Click on the more images link under the upper left image to find it.

I really like this drawing a lot. My friend thinks it looks Dr. Who-ish. I’m a fan of Dr. Who, so that might be why I like it.

The show in Chicago on Friday was fantastic. It was my 12 year old son's first concert and he loved it. Stella mentioned that the last time they played Chicago was 1989 and there were maybe 30 people at the club. Friday's show was sold out. Amazing testament to their increasing popularity.

Thanks for your help, Jaz. I’ve been looking up pictures to try and figure out who’s who, but there’s not a lot of pictures or info to go by. But I think I have it figured out now. From left to right… Richard Raux, Francis Moze, Teddy Lasry (behind Christian), Christian Vander, Klaus Blasquiz, Alain Charlery (Paco), Francios Cahen and Claude Engel. If anyone knows if this is correct or not, please let me know.

Great to hear that people got to the concert and enjoyed it!

Oh and another thing I really like about 1001 Centigrades is the bass playing.

^ Francis Moze - how groovy is he . Love that last few minutes of Ki Iahl O Liahk, what a cool jam. Yet another 5 star album in my books.
All you lucky folks who caught them live, I envy you .
No chance they'd gig Down Under......
