Telestrat, Dave's list is quite essential, I'm sure you'll dig it considering your vintage taste.

Thanks for the tip. I found it on Amazon and was able to sample each track and it went right into my cart.
It has two CDs and what caught my eye was the 11 minute version of Vimana.
I will report on this when it arrives.

Those three were definitely missing from my collection.
From what I sampled on the Blaze and Bloom CD it is a must have as well.

If I had to keep three of this list, it would be BANCO for its classicism, CERVELLO for its originality and GARAMOND for its modernity and its transfigured tarantellas.

Great list Pierre! Already know 21 albums from the list, the Allegri Leprotti one, thanks to you Smile
The Italian Prog scene sure has a lot to talk about. Big smile

I discovered a funny thing yesterday: I was looking into some of my father's cassettes and I listened to one track he used to play a lot https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rk0NKPVH33A
It turns out this artist is a Disco alias of Claudio Simonetti, Goblin's keyboardist Tongue

Just finished listening to Delirium lll (Viaggio Negli Arcipelaghi Del Tempo).
Great compositions with mellow lows and intense highs and I particularly enjoyed the flute.

I discovered Automat last week, it's danceable but it still has enough Berlin School influences to deserve a place on PE. Great stuff Clap
Le Streghe is really groovy Cool

Easy man, easy, RPI's addiction is real Evil Smile

Between September, 2011 and December, 2012, I bought more than 300 CD. I took a second job, then a third. But buying Cd’s wasn’t enough. I was so obsessed by that music that I had to see Italy, walk in the streets of Rome with Banco, or settle down at the Florian Cafι of Venice with Le Orme. I went to these towns, then Naples, Capri, Milan, Pisa, Bologna... My last day in Florence, in a records store close to the Duomo, I met Mister Maurizioi  Pieri, the producer of the Kay Hofman's record : Floret Silva. He showed me photos of him at his studio with Jacqueline Darby and members of Pierrot Lunaire. I knew that my quest was finished.  I was delivered from my RPI obsession and could return home and live quietly.

But it's so late. 3 o'clock in the morning in Paris. I'm gonna listen to the Gli Alluminogeni's album Scolopendra before to sleep. Just one, I promise.

Good night.
