On the contrary, the absence of energy means the existence of energy. Therefore, the vacuum can be empty of energy, for it means that energy exists ouf of the vaccum.
The Universe may well be a free lunch, but this does not mean what you are saying.

Do you imply the vacuum provides free lunches? Are black holes the appetizers of trans-dimensional cosmic feasts?

deep thinking is something one does for his/herself and the only real reason to post it is to possibly inspire someone else and/or simply bring your thoughts on digital paper so even when the rest will make fun of you there is still reason to keep posting your deep thoughts

In the meantime, here is an essay about Alan Watts about how exactly what reality is, how much of it is defined subjectively by our own expectations as well as our desire to fit our experiences of that reality into our self-image. (what with all the social status concerns that either consciously or unconsciously come with the territory)
"The past is not some static being, it is not a previous present, nor a present that has passed away; the past has its own dynamic being which is constantly renewed and renewing." - Claire Colebrook

I find reality to be like nougat. Chewy, meltable, and always not as satisfying as you think it would be.
Dig me...But don't...Bury me

I've only watched the version where they were all drunk or pregnant, so I wouldn't know.
