I like the sound of that.  I could definitely use more Japanese stuff in my collection, I have relatively little, and most of it is either noise or Boris or both.

I remember when Ruins started up, I thought it was so strange to hear of a progressive rock band from Japan, let alone one with a Magma influence.  Prior to that, I never envisioned Japan having any kind of music scene at all.  The thing is, their mainstream culture actually places a relatively high emphasis on conformity and blending in - so that just makes their underground culture that much more far out.  This is just a hunch, of course, I'd like to learn more about what's cooking in Japan.  For many years, they had a very straight-faced, humorless, workaholic image.

I'd say their mainstream music isn't too shabby either.

My first Boris album was just shipped too.
