He's not a girl. He's an old bandmate who's a metalhead. He's a nice guy, but definitely has strong opinions. If you want to hear girl troubles: I don't have the traditional girl troubles, in that I've never not been single. I've never asked anybody out either (and thus have never been rejected). I've been attracted to girls, blown it out of proportion with fantasies of a life together, gotten to know them, discovering that I don't really like them that much as people, and backed off. So now, I try not to force feeling in that regard and just let it come naturally if it comes at all. Right now, I like a girl, who, like me, doesn't say much. The problem is that, no matter how many times we see each other (a lot through the week), we never really have anything to say to each other. So it's kind of tough trying to get to know her. But I'm getting to know her slowly (like I get to know any person).

Yes. I was very surprised I hadn't heard of them until mentioned (understatement) by Austin and Tanner.

I guess i'm having similar problems with my very large attraction towards girl ive talked about here before.
Like i mentioned before i pretty much fell for her, big time, and the feeling wasn't returned in anyway possible so i got crushed.
I tried distancing myself from her but she comes to visit to say hi, hug, and whatnot, and (un)unfortunately i had the ability to do the same at her work once or twice. Every single time she smiles at me, says my name, or hugs me i just go to the moon. But i've honestly been depressed every day this happens because the minute of bliss i get from that, i get hours and days of hopeless depression because i know the reality of the situation. We aren't an item, and she doesn't care/like me anywhere near i do to her.
It's crushing to me. I'm known as the guy that does nothing, with nobody, and the anxiety and loneliness has just been imploding on me.
I wish i could start this time with her all over, doing things different. But its at a point where if we do say anything its nothing more than whats up, how are you - smallchat. Nothing really to say.
I hope you do just what you said, let it come naturally. Don't push yourself. Let something as fragile as a relationship build on itself. The idea of love at first sight is a beautiful thing, but the idea of a progression, an evolution between two people, seems more romantic and real.
I hope one day I can find someone else that makes me feel special and comfortable with myself, and do the same to her.
It's days like these that Morrissey just speaks to me.
Others conquered love - but I ran I sat in my room and I drew up a plan but plans can fall through as so often they do and time is against me now
And there's no one left to blame tell me when will you when will you accept your life the one that you hate for anything is hard to find when you will not open your eyes

Yeah, I usually don't go in too much for modern symph but they clicked with me. Try My River Flows.
