Because you get better at saying things, which comes in handy when you actually do have something to say. That said, they are approximately 0% fun.

Yeah, I get ya. It's just hard. I don't think I'm a very smart person with words. They're complicated.

Tan-Nor The Jandek thing - where did you get it? I can't find it for sale.
but I bought 3 other Jandek things that were for sale:
Camber Sands Sunday (supposed to be a good live album with the Neilson/Youngs rhythm section) Raining Down Diamonds (I've heard this - really down and out vocals, accompanied only on bass. Perfect for depressed car rides alone). Brooklyn Wednesday DVD (my favorite album by Jandek by far, thought I should have the DVD version too)

Any fans here?

The Pixies seemed to be the perfect mixture of where i am musically right now so i figured I'd give them a shot.
I haven't warmed up completely to some of the songwriting but I really get into some of their songs.
I'll check out The Breeders soon. thanks.
How are you Lear?

I'm doing well, in spite of having to write an essay. Happy to have just picked up a copy of Rain Dogs.

Trompe Le Monde is my favorite, but those two are very good too. Never got into Bossanova.

That's in my top 3 favorite albums of all time. Takes a while to get into, but it's catchy and terrifying at the same time and there's so much to love.
